This isn't a small oversight; it's a glaring, structural inconsistency that disrupts the aesthetic and functional integrity of the space. When confronted, the merchant's response lacked any meaningful resolution or acknowledgment of the mistake. They failed to reconcile the difference between the actual build and the signed design documents. If they believe the job reflects the original agreement, then the least they could do is produce a revised and signed contract showing an 8-inch discrepancy - which, of course, they haven't. Bottom line: this company either doesn't read their own schematics or thinks their clients won't notice when a job is this far off-mark. Avoid at all costs unless you're okay with uneven installations and a refusal to own up to mistakes.
