Son's experience: He always looks forward going to TKD. His biggest motivation is the tape that goes on his belt to prove he did well with whichever routine was given. He gets so proud. My husband and I went there to sign our son up for Saturday classes, we were told that we would have to give a month notice when we were cancelling. We relocated to Chantilly at the beginning of September, and my credit card is still being charged. I called the woman at the Gainesville location to cancel on September 4th, she didn't notify Global Financials until around September 22nd. When I contacted Global Financial, some woman whom I could barely understand told me that couldn't tell me why it takes so long to get the cancellation and also you have to give a 60 DAYS notice. I checked, most martial arts facilities(including the one we are currently using) require 2 weeks to 30 days notice. I submitted a fraud claim through American Express, it's currently pending. Life Champ Martial Arts in Gainesville is shady, untrustworthy with financial transactions, and commit unconscionable sales practices when signing up new customers. BE AWARE!!!!

He absolutely loves it there, so much so that when we moved to Annandale for a few years my son begged us to keep him enrolled in the lessons and as a member of Master Dennis' elite sparring team. We ended up moving back and have him back in the before and after-school but he never stopped attending lessons and training. Is every day perfect? No. Are there unhappy moments? Yes! I think this is true with any program. There are going to be good and bad moments. If you ever have a problem Master Dennis is there to listen and help solve any issues. What is different about USTigers is the family feel to the place. The Kim family's children are there every day and participate with the other children in all of the same activities. The Kim family provides an excellent program at an affordable price with no contract required. We tried another martial arts place prior to sending our son to USTigers and they wanted a monthly lesson fee in addition to the before and after care price and required a contract be signed. We just didn't feel it at that place and after the trial period ended went to USTigers on the recommendation of a friend. My son has increased confidence, respect, and strength as a result of the time at USTigers. He enjoys all the extra fun activities they have such as the Halloween party and Holiday Party. WE wouldn't take him anywhere else.
