We hired Minez Concrete to pour a brand new, 200ft long driveway with curbs - one of the final stages of a lengthy and painful custom home build process. I paid extra for a sand finish. Not too happy with the way it turned out . The slab is uneven and lumpy in a few areas, with some brush marks visible, and already cracked in a couple of spots. They also failed to properly mask our garage door before the pour and ruined the bottom two panels with concrete splatter, which had to be replaced (they did cover some of the replacement cost). After the slab fully cured, I asked Oswaldo to come back and pressure wash the driveway a few times, but he never showed up to finish the job properly, which was disappointing. Their pricing is reasonable, but three stars is about right, considering the quality.

Palm tree roots had taken over the underground pipes along one side of our property, causing flooding and pooling every time it rained. Not exactly the water feature we had in mind! The solution was no small undertaking. It required cutting through concrete along the entire side of our property, locating and bypassing the compromised pipes, installing new drainage pipes and drains, connecting everything to the curb, and finally, pouring and finishing new concrete to seamlessly match our existing hardscape. SK Concrete handled it masterfully! Their crew arrived on time, was courteous and professional, communicated clearly throughout the project, and worked diligently to ensure every detail was done right. They also built a flat bad for the air conditioner and were easy to coordinate around with the AC vendor for disconnect/reconnect. Filiberto was friendly to work with and provided a reasonable quote for the work. He gave an itemized quote so we were able to decide what portions of our goal we could achieve with the funding we had available. The final cost exactly matched the quote I received. The team showed up on-time. They were very friendly and required no supervision. The project was cleaned up perfectly when complete. We requested a quote on November 13, began the project on December 10 and did a final walk through on December 30. That was probably a week extended due to delays (with my AC vendor) in moving the AC so the concrete could be poured and the Christmas holiday. I could not be more ecstatic with the final product. We will definitely be using FMJ Concrete again in the future and I highly recommend you do as well.

BUYER BEWARE. This company is not what it appears to be. I…read moream quite certain that it is actually a company that publicly ONLY advertises and markets services. It actually does NONE of the work. The work is done, as far as I can tell, COMPLETELY by subcontractors. My initial experience was with Rich, a very friendly and smooth talking sales person who represented himself as an owner of Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape. He referred to his crews and foremen. Only later did I learn that they were actually crews from companies that were subcontracted out. I never received a formal written estimate from the Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape, or even a final written receipt upon payment. OK, that's for the highly deceptive side of the business. The job I hired them for was hardscape and concrete stain and sealing. It took three months to complete about four days of actual work. Every time Rich gave me a start time for "his men", something ultimately pushed it back another week or so. It's obvious now why, it wasn't even his company doing the work. In fact, I think I physically saw Rich a total of two or three times including the initial meeting. Material orders were not placed timely, when items were back ordered from one supplier, there was no attempt to locate the materials elsewhere. Coordination was haphazard and details were constantly slipping through the cracks. Thinking that Rich from Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape- was the company actually doing the work, all I kept getting were excuses and more bullshit. After three months of total frustration, I was told that I could make my actual payment to the company that was finishing the work that day, as a convenience to me! Beyond my dissatisfaction with the job was the fact that I had been experiencing such highly misleading and deceptive communication xfrom the beginning. Not only does this company NOT deserve a solid review, it doesn't deserve the public trust. Look elsewhere.

The day before the job he shows up and comes over to chat and decline's doing the job. He tells me face to face "I'm just going to pass". I'm like what the heck. Our company went through Angie's list to get bids and this guy is unreliable unless it's convenient for him. Maybe too hot out for him to work. We have other contractors coming into work the next day and now they have to be canceled. So he cost them their jobs as well. We have other bids but now 2 weeks out due to M & M Hauling & Bobcat.
