I requested if she could please reduce to a thinner sized instrument, and she replied "you're not a virgin anyway, it doesn't matter". I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. She continued on with the appointment in the same rude attitude, being snappy with her replies to my questions. Some questions I couldn't even finish asking because she would cut me off. I was very close to walking out of the middle of the appointment (I've never done that before). Was she having a bad day and took it out on me? That would be the only reasoning I could possibly come up with for having one of the worst doctors appointments (and doctors) I've ever had. I will never be a patient of Dr. Scanlon again. I switched to Dr. Farhi, who was in the same office for The Women's Comprehensive Center, and she was great. Dr. Farhi was very accomodating to my comfort and concerns as a patient, she is the best.

Dr. Oh took the time to review my images and then sat down with me to go over her thoughts, answer my questions, and talk about how she recommended we move forward. I was so impressed and put at ease by this interaction. I finally felt like someone was giving it to me straight and like I had a voice into my care. Following this appointment, I transitioned to this being my primary OBGYNE provider. When we started trying to conceive at the end of 2018 and had difficulty, Dr. Oh again was so gracious, patient, and sympathetic. She helped us navigate some preliminary testing to check if anything was amiss as we continued to try. When we finally, thankfully were able to conceive on our own, Dr. Oh came in to the room for our first appointment and celebrated with us. We could sense her genuine excitement for us after trying for almost a year. I have experienced these doctors in some challenging medical situations. Not only my ovarian cyst, and trying to conceive, but also a subchorionic hematoma, difficult delivery, and now progesterone shots for my second pregnancy. Dr. Heiberger commanded the room with a firm but calm demeanor when I was delivering my first son and had complications. The nurses have gone to battle for me in this pregnancy with the specialty pharmacy to make sure I get my weekly progesterone shots delivered on time. I can't say enough good things about this place. This practice has been an excellent place for me and my growing family.

She told me not to worry, they would help us on the billing with no insurance and get everything squared away. It was so reassuring. I literally just love Linda! Ruby and Maria are also great! So we go to the appointment, and I was literally freaking out that my mom was going to flip out on Dr. Griggs because she hates doctors. After an hour she comes out and is completely calm and we talked to Linda. Linda gave her a hug and we were off. In the car my mom said, Dr Griggs was the kindest most understanding doctor she had ever met. So, of course I was thrilled. On the billing side, Linda told us that we should talk to Pam. So at the next appointment my mom went into Dr. Griggs, and Pam took me back to her office and explained all of our options. Since the affordable care act did not apply to my mom, we have to work really hard to find other options. So Pam gave me a ton of information, and was super duper understanding and sweet.
