    Yes. Peachy. Penguins.

Gonna go ahead and disagree with some of the other patron reviews. We were running from the B to the A concourse with three kids around 7 am, after being up at 4 am in DC. This place was just down from our gate and had no less than 10 gummy options! We opted for the peachy penguins and let me tell you...troop morale was much higher after the introduction of these goodies! They may actually contain kindness and joy based on their reception from our three over tired children! The bag was something like $6 - I think that's cheaper than a gas station bag of crappy gummy bears. We'll stop here every time we're around!

Almost all of the candy for sale here is Dylan's brand. Perhaps that's a brand that Detroiters are familiar with, but I've never heard of it. The wrappings and the colors look great and they have a wide variety of chocolates and gummies and hard candies and such. There are some M&Ms and a few of the other "macrobrews" that most of us are familiar with. If you're looking for something unique as a present, Dylan's gets the job done.

Airport stores like Dylan's help me retain my "favorite Auntie" status. A stop here to stock up on treats, before a visit, helps to make a good impression. There are bulk gummies, colorful jelly beans, multi-flavored lollipops, a variety of chocolate bars, chocolate-covered cookies, and Dylan's candy bark. Gift containers and sets are also available. With more than an hour before my flight, I have to admit that I went a little crazy. However, mission accomplished. The treats were much appreciated and my aunt status retained.

probably closer to a 4.5. If I were going to get diabetes, I would want it to be because of this…read moreplace. I am such a sucker for dessert spots, and this place seems to do everything right. From their cakes and cookies, to their parfaits and macaroons, everything just hits. On a most recent visit, I tried their biscoff parfait and it was a show stopper. It was hard for me to enjoy my Matilda chocolate cake (though I managed) knowing that I had more biscoff parfait to eat. They do coffee and other assorted beverages as well, but those are just support for the real stars of the show here, their desserts. I cannot say one bad thing I have had here (though a friend of mine says their cinnamon rolls were underwhelming). OVERALL - a great ending to an evening, or a destination unto itself. Get some, now! The cake looked great and had the graham (I might have imagined it), marshmallow, and chocolate flavor elements in each bite, but it ran a bit dry and sweeter than I prefer. I'm in the "less sugar is more" minority, so most people might be fine with it. I guess I should have expected it given the name. The iced matcha latte used decent matcha and tasted light and pleasant, no grit. Inside, it is all pastels and cake themed accents, with the general vibe of "yeah, there are macarons here." The real plus is being near Little Caesars Arena in the newer development area, which makes it convenient for grabbing a treat and a drink while downtown.

Their chocolate creations are not only delicious, but creative and unlike any other treats out there. Back in the day, it was not unusual for us to make a 40 minute drive into Hamtramck or Detroit to get a Bon fix, so you can imagine how excited we were as they opened more storefronts across Metro Detroit. Not only does the variety of locations support our Bon3 obsession, but each store is visually stunning and unique! This is a business that you can feel really good about supporting. Not only is their product top notch, but their practices prioritize quality, sustainability ,community and inclusion. It has been fun watching their tremendous growth over the last seven years and cheering them on from the sidelines!

But this...this is worth it. I wouldn't pay more, but I would pay $3.50 again for a special treat. The place is absolutely adorable, great selection, and the taste...OMG. So why 4 stars? In a place like this it's easy to get overwhelmed and it would be nice to have some customer service...greeting people, explaining a bit about the options in packaging and prices. I likely would have gotten more had I known anything about the place and only saw other options as I was already paying. Missed opportunity "just" cashing people out vs learning first time in, etc, that would guarantee more sales and repeat business. It's too beautiful and tasty to not have that great attention to detail as well.
