That 50 for 50% off deal does not help. Buy 50 or more back issues and get it 50% off! Being the comic crack addict I am, I can easily do 50. Prices are competitive, didn't see anything overpriced. Staff is super friendly, but if you come in asking for maps or puzzles be prepared to be hit on the head. I love how their name badges are nicknames like Boomhauer and Overlord. Address them by those names to give em a smile. Large variety of comics both old and current. There are action figures n games too but I didn't pay much attention to them. Very spacious. Supplies are well priced and in good variety.

Wheeling is poppin' off with the food halls all around town. Centre Market is probably the biggest…read moremarket in the area, but it ain't even the only one. Do West Virginians love their food halls? Maybe so. Centre Market has the famous Coleman's Fish Market, plus a second location of Tito's Sloppy Doggs (called Tito's in the Market House), a cheese shop and Michael's Beef House, home of the original roast beef sandwich. There's a building that's not physically connected but still part of Centre Market, and it houses a coffee shop, a hand-pie bakery, an ice cream shop and an art gallery. This part of Centre Market also has comfy couches and games to play, so if you're looking for an area to hang out and stay a while, this part of Centre Market is your spot. I love a good food hall, and Centre Market is a good place to visit if you're looking to find something to eat but don't know what you want. There's something for everyone here, and it's all local, which is great.

Awww, man, there is so much potential here and I can tell Wheeling is really working hard to…read morerevitalize downtown. On a Thursday afternoon the market area was mostly empty and desolate, but the vendors who were operating were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Makes me sad that Wheeling used to be THE city in which to see and be seen. We bought a few sweets and sausages from local vendors and I am sure I could have spent WAY more money here. The building reminds me of the marketplace in Charleston SC on a much smaller scale. I hope these vendors can make it and I wish them a major boost of life and vitality. Everything about Wheeling: the number of Victorian homes, the historic businesses, and the centre market have so much offer, if only a little love continues to go into downtown.
