If I could give "zero" stars I would. I hired Craig Trembly to completely replace half my storm damaged house roof, -I only wish I knew ahead his total lack of basic knowledge of roofing installation and lack of basic carpentry skills. If he'd at least "Googled" roofing he might have gotten installation somewhat right. Craig was paid "in full" quite well by the insurance company but never completed the job: he did not properly install the roof layers leaving trim hanging, -blowing literally in the wind; he loosely, randomly put nails on top of the shingles/roof all over, poking out, to hold shingles down, I've been since told no nails should be put on top if shingles ac it leads to water leaking through; and now I have further damage as water is getting under the shingles causing the newly installed plywood to swell and pop up shingles due to improper installation ! He never painted bedroom ceiling nor fixed side trim he was paid to do. He charged me $650 extra for a dumpster when his contract clearly stated he takes care of debris removal from the job; and finally his contract states he, contractor, takes care of pulling necessary town permits which I assumed was taken care of but recently discovered was not done. His idea of a work day is arriving after 10 am and leaving by 3-4 so a 2 day job the job dragged on for weeks. Posting pictures...they speak a thousand words. Further action will be taken as he was made aware of these issues and never contacted me to reach a resolve. I'm a senior citizen and can't afford to hire another roofer to redo the job. I hired Craig at Dwellco Property Services for home repairs one of which was rebuilding front exterior steps. Shortly after the work was completed and paid for, one of the steps required repair. Wood panel is making a "knocking" sound when stepped on and is coming loose. I contacted Craig to come take a look as he assured me at the time of hire he would gladly guarantee his work and provide repairs if ever needed. Craig told me he would come take a look at the repairs needed and would schedule a time to do so. I stayed in contact periodically about this however Craig never came by to look at the repairs needed and has since stopped responding to me. Rest assure I have been professional and patient. I'm disappointed in how he handled business and I am now looking to pay out additional money to repair what wasn't done correctly to begin with. I won't comment on the other work performed by him at my house, but had the quality of work on the other projects made up for this one simple repair on my step, I wouldn't be writing this negative review. read more

I had a kitchen remodeling project being done including a new counter backsplash and tile floor install. The flooring was about 350 sq. ft. I hired Craig through porch.com. This was a classic case of "you get what you pay for". Craig started and completed the job in March of '17. By the time summer rolled around the floor was failing. Craig is NOT a tile installer. Anyone can pick up a hammer and call themselves a carpenter. The same applies here with tile. The flooring "pops" when walked upon and grout has chipped and dislodged throughout the floor. Tiles are moving and are only being held in where grout has not yet cracked. I have had 2 other professional tilers both come in since to tell me the flooring was not installed correctly and should not be failing. But do due to improper installation, unfortunately is failing, and fast. The backsplash install was so poor that when I went to put the outlet covers back on, gaps were visible because the cuts were not accurate. I emailed Craig regarding this and was told I needed to order the jumbo switch plates to cover the gaps. The plates look jumbo and look ridiculous. In the mean time the floor continues to fail and will soon need to be replaced. I kept in touch with Craig and was told on several occasions he would come out to look but never showed up. In September of '17 he stopped responding to my requests. Unfortunately I became ill for several months and had to put this issue on the back burner. But not for long. I have been forced to hire legal council which I was hoping to avoid if Craig was willing to live up to his end of the bargain. I have also contacted the R.I. contractors board as well. Buyer beware, Craig is NOT a tile installer. If I could make this 0 stars I would. I'm out a several thousand dollars in materials and eventually several thousand more to rip out and replace the absolute hack job he performed read more
