She understood exactly the vibes of what we wanted from our new home and picked a great list of spots to tour and helped us narrow down to our future home! We could not have found as great of a new apartment without her. Highly recommend smart city to anyone relocating to Denver!

I want to make sure Scott is recognized for his amazing work in helping me find an apartment. 2…read moredays after I started working with him from a different state, I signed a lease sight unseen for what seems like a great living experience with a responsive property management company. I am happy with my decision for now, and I suspect I will love living at the apartment complex once I move in; it looks much nicer than any apartment I've ever lived in, which is a good start. I'm not sure how I got in touch with Smart City in the first place. But from the very first text that he sent, Scott was friendly, professional, and approachable. From the list of options he sent me promptly, I could tell he considered every single feature I requested. I'm grateful that he found such great places for me to look through. He was extremely kind and patient with my indecision, which was partly due to every single property that he found for me being right on the mark. I felt badly for communicating with him after normal business hours, but he never made me feel like a bother. After all, I was on a time crunch to find a place to live, and he was empathetic enough to recognize that. I really like the way that they map out the properties on Google Maps and provide all the necessary details of each unit. Scott texted me video recordings of tours for each property (unit, amenities, exterior) that I was considering. My experience tells me that Smart City is a very professional, well-run company, and I lucked out working with such a great person and company (no scammer vibes ever detected). I hope y'all pay your agents their worth! Scott made my apartment search experience very seamless, and saving me from the mental headache of finding a place to live from out of state, during the winter, and with less than 1 week's notice, is invaluable. After I decided on the property, someone from the Smart City Connect team ("complimentary service where we offer discounts from our partners, including movers" - also utilities, renter's insurance, internet/cable) has continued to reach out to me to help me set up other things. I can see this being useful for someone who needs to set these up separately from the property or has never bought renter's insurance or used movers before. I get the sense that this company tries to maintain a long-term relationship with you, beyond helping you find the first property. As long as they continue to do amazing work and do not charge the customer a fee (otherwise this would greatly decrease the clientele pool), I would be happy to continue to use their services for my future housing needs. Scott went above and beyond to help me find a place to live on short notice. I was very impressed with him. I hope that you (reader) are lucky enough to get to work with him!

They use intimidation…read moretactics gaslighting and threats to vacate if you don't like what's going on in their building for instance 1138 Corona St. is a trash property that's on the verge of collapse the roof was replaced five years ago and they used crappy material so much so that it expands and contracts 24 hours a day the roof in the attic both creak buckle and make popping sounds 24 seven is practically impossible to sleep in that property Apartments 303, 304 and 305 on the third floor of the 1138 Corona property are uninhabitable and they still rent them. They only give you a verbal notice that the apartment is noisy, but they don't go into great detail when you complain about the problems they turn around and throw it in your face and they accuse you of being accusatory, which was very bizarre not only that they use gaslighting and intimidation tactics. They threaten you to vacate the property if you don't like it and they accuse you of being accusatory when you bring up concerns about the property Being on the verge of collapse, there are visible craxks, doors are cracked and unlevel, There are visible cracks in the foundation in the laundry room and tenants on the first floor have said that their apartment creaks all night long and it's impossible to have any guests stay the night. This property is not only in the verge of collapse. It's dirty dilapidated and full of cobwebs. There's trash that blows all over the grounds Not only is it not well-maintained it's on the verge of collapse and it's a dangerous building that could hurt people if it does collapse there is an elderly man in 305 that's been pacified for the last five years by the owner and he is completely fed up with the building issues, but he is stuck there and he has no other place to go I lived in this property for two years having vacated on June 4 when I was sick and under a doctors care at UC Health I had 103° fever and it was forced to go to the property and clean it out four days past the date I was supposed to vacate , if I would've waited until I was completely well it would've been June 14 ; that I was no longer under a doctors care and I would've been subjected to late fines and I would've been responsible for the whole month of June's rent so I cut my losses and I left when I did because I was physically unable to fulfill the demands of the lease by cleaning the carpets so they in turn charged me $476 to clean the carpets which they say included the Excel payments For electricity which I already had paid directly to excel plus I left a money order on the counter, and removed my name with xcel but they still charged me xcel til end of June when I was already moved out. They nickle n dime your deposit and basically charged me for electricity payments I already made. THIS IS THEFT!!!! this is a corrupt and shady business. Do not rent from them unless you want to be prone to bouts of anger, outburst of extreme gaslighting, lies, baseless, accusations , targeting, bias, discrimination, theft, threats of intimidation and accusatory tactics don't rrent from from these gaslighting narcissists.

The staff has always been very helpful and ready to work with me, what ever the problem - but the rule of "give polite; get polite" applies - unfortunately I have watched a few very impolite and demanding residents. During my time, they won the claim with the insurance and repaired the water issue referred to in other comments. Everything was disclosed during my buying experience. And the repairs were accomplished with minimum interference to me. I would encourage buyer and renters based on my experience. My only lowering comment is the Media "one size fits all" package. I would love to have choices of media (I don't use phone and could do fine without cable) I only want hi speed internet.

Do not live here. Security is terrible! A homeless woman literally gained access to the building by…read moresaying she knew someone there and k*lled herself by jumping off one of the higher floors. The stairs were closed for weeks as they were repainted after the incident. This occurred late 2025- early 2026. Mind you, you're not allowed to have people you know use the pool while you're not there, even though you paid close to a million dollars to live there. Management is so terrible. You will pay $800 a month in HOA fees for nothing to change in the building. They send a ridiculous amount of emails to tenants about events that very few residents attend. The elevators take forever: the ride is at least 60 seconds, and you can wait up to 2 minutes for it to reach your floor. IMPORTANT: They make you pay a $2000 deposit for MOVING. Doesn't matter if you're moving in or out. Ridiculous considering their elevators have broken down at least 10 times this year. The parking garage is TERRIBLE, it is triangle-shaped, so you have to make 9 turns just to get up to the floor you're parked on. Takes close to 5 minutes just to get out of the garage. For downtown and traffic, the location is terrible. No nearby retail, food, or groceries. Easily a 10-minute walk to the closest thing. There are 100% better locations to live downtown for the price, with younger tenants and better amenities. The Internet is constantly being repaired in this building. There have been three days this year when they have turned off the water to the building as well.
