Here's the deal when you find a business that has lots of really positive reviews, and a handful of negative reviews. You have to determine what type of business relationship existed, and what the basis is for either such high praise or such negativity. I've had to move my family seven times in the last sixteen years, mostly corporate relocations, but a few moves on our own to find better schools, etc. We recently decided to buy in Evergreen, and I asked a well-connected friend who lives there for a recommendation. He went through his network and came back with a connection to Carrie Hurich. We're a month away from closing on our dream home, and we couldn't have done it without Carrie's help. Having moved so often, my wife and I know within five minutes if a realtor is "right" for us. Some are pushy. Some talk so much you can't get a feel for the house. Some just email every listing that shows up in the county without filtering for what you've talked about as important. Carrie listens, stays totally engaged, is super responsive and WORKS for her clients. We don't live in Evergreen, and so we had to make three trips to the area to search for our home. Carrie cleared her schedule and spent hours looking at houses. She finally suggested a house that wasn't even on the market based on her local knowledge, and then she was able to get us into the house to see it. Turned out to be our dream home. Couple reviews about offers being withdrawn. Colorado real estate laws are very buyer-friendly, and if your beef is that the buyer backed out, how is that the realtor's fault? Why drop a one-star review when the buyers are solely responsible for that decision? All I can say is that Carrie demonstrated impeccable ethics, total client focus, patience with the whiplash of changing priorities and a sense of relaxed humor that kept our teenagers in stitches. Alice Carmody is an extremely unprofessional real estate agent. I had the unfortunate circumstance of working with her a few years ago when I bought my home in evergreen. She made the process a nightmare. I've been meaning to write this review for over 2 years now. The fact that I'm writing it after all this time shows just how much of a negative impression she made on me. She works Americas safety net job in a market and age where the internet and houses sell them self yet she's bitter, rude, and has a terrible attitude. Carrie Hurich earned our five star review. We have worked with many brokers over the years, and Carrie ranks with the best. We live out of state and asked Carrie to help us locate an existing home or a lot to build a home, but advised her that our time frame was flexible and we may take some time to locate our dream home. Carrie made a great effort to understand our dream, educate us on the area, sent us properties on line and showed us around when we visited in person. She was extremely responsive and never pushed to move us faster. Frustrated with the existing home market, we gravitated to a development to build a home, but all the existing lots were sold out. When an existing lot was listed for resale late one evening, Carrie immediately called the selling broker, emailed us and by the next morning we secured the property, which already had many showings lined up for the afternoon. Carrie's commission on the lot was significantly lower than had we purchased an existing lot, but she never once tried to steer us toward a more expensive home. Carrie's personal connections in and deep knowledge of Evergreen, gained over many years, paid off for us by helping us secure a property to build our dream home in Evergreen. We were selling a house in Evergreen that had significant road noise from Evergreen Parkway. We knew going in that would be a concern for buyers and that the price would need to reflect it. Jennifer Trinco convinced us that they (Tupper's Team) have the Evergreen real estate market figured out and they know how to determine the target price that will move houses fast. She did her market research and told us to list for $695k. We thought that was really high, but decide to go with Jennifer, since they "know the market". Well, we ended up firing Jennifer after many weeks of hearing buyers tell us we were overpriced, finally selling via another realtor for $535k. We weren't in a hurry, so we had time to get the price right, this wasn't a fire sale. I know it's hard to price some properties, but there are plenty of houses along Evergreen Parkway with noise. So how can someone claim to have the inside track on the Evergreen real estate market and miss by that much?? I wonder now how much being overpriced at the beginning cost us in the final price. read more

I have tried to work with this realty team to resolve our issues and go our separate ways. They refuse, including "Tupper" himself, to admit that they had any fault in the problem. We would happily find another agent, but really need the Tupper team to admit that they handled this situation badly. We continue to reach out to this realty group but they refuse to communicate.
