After one visit I remembered why I truly appreciated Dr. Zaim, his honesty! He is genuine and he looks out for his customers. My families checkups did not include the exaggerated diagnosis that we received previously from the other dentist. The quote for work was also half the cost and one claim was unfounded. Now I have been to other dental offices that were a lot fancier, but I'll take honesty. The front office staff is also super pleasant despite some of the rudeness displayed by a couple of patients. The tech that cleaned our teeth could've been a little less messy with her technique. Dr. Zaim is rare and a breath of fresh air in an industry that generally rips you off.

She reminds me of my mom--she gives me a hard time for not flossing but she doesn't make me feel like crap for it. Don't let the store front deceive you--it looks a little sketch on the outside but it's clean on the inside. Plus you get to watch Divorce Court while you wait. The rest of the staff is also nice. I've gotten a routine checkup and a cavity drilled, and both went quickly and painlessly (well, at least more painless than my last dentist).

Highly knowledgeable and explains all procedures to you before you are even engaged. His staff is also very attentive an amenable as well and will contact you if you call with a problem or after your procedure to ascertain how you are progressing. I am so sorry that we don't have any Oral Surgeon like him this far that I have found in Florida but I wish I could. Also my last time here. I was taken to the back to have 3 teeth extracted. With in 15 min (no exaggeration) they were wheeling me to the front desk saying I was done. I had no time to recover from the heavy heavy anesthesia they gave me. I was not coherent at all. They rushed me out of the office. The one woman was gripping me up so hard that my arms and shoulders are full of bruises. I look absolutely terrible. My husband even told her to stop hitting me. She said well she has to wake up. I have never in my life pressed charges on anyone. This will be the first. I strongly suggest finding another oral dentist.

Dr. Steven Moriconi is a fantastic oral surgeon. I had first sought an opinion from a different…read moreoral surgeon who had told me under no uncertain terms that I needed to have surgery - and he had told me he would not be able to use anesthesia. I went to Dr. Moriconi expecting a similar experience, but instead he gave me a few options, described the pros and cons of each, and said if I did decide on surgery he would only do it in a hospital under anesthesia because there would be no way to get me comfortable enough otherwise. What a relief! The day of my appointment Dr. Moriconi had called my dentist to talk about my case before he even saw me. That really impressed me. For now I decided not to do anything (which was one of the options) and I will see how my condition progresses. He says it might take care of itself and as long as I am not in pain or discomfort there's no reason I shouldn't wait and see. He is not aggressive with the knife and that suits me just fine. The entire staff at his practice was professional, friendly, and very helpful through every step of the way. I'm so glad I got that second opinion!!

Even when I lived in Maryland I still would try to come to Philly to see him for my teeth. Even though it's a small office on a busy 5th street but there's always parking, never worry about parking! In my search for a new dentist, I was really excited that I heard back from this office very quickly, and was able to schedule an appointment within a week. The dentist was extremely nice and friendly, very caring, however, the actual cleaning that I was there for, and the x-rays made me decide that I will not return. Regarding the x-rays, the dentist did not put the lead smock on me. I was receiving x-rays without any protection from the lead apron. This is not like any experience I've had anywhere else. The cleaning took maybe five minutes because all the dentist did was water pick my teeth. There was no rushing, no flossing, and I did not leave the dentist with that wonderful, feeling of super smooth and clean teeth. Although he was very nice, it was the lack of care, and the lack of time that I felt was put into my cleaning. I take good care of my teeth, but I still expect to be brushed, flossed, anything other than a five minute water pick. X-rays and cleaning took no more than 10 minutes. Again, the doctor is super nice, but I will not be returning in six months for another cleaning.

He's very ditzy and out there and seems like he has no idea what he is doing. He gave my daughter too much numbing medication and she had a strong reaction to it. Her hands cramped up, she was white as a ghost and he says "you're just messing with me". When it was clean she was not, he said "I might have gave her too much, I'll put it in the chart not to give her that much next time". You would think a DOCTOR would know better. Then I get something from my insurance company saying they're denied something which was weird since it covered everything. I found out they were trying to take on bogus charges hoping the insurance company wouldn't even look and just pay it. That is a scummy, scammy move! DO NOT GO TO THESE UNPROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS.

The chair was dirty the glasses were not cleaned off from the previous patient and the assistant didn't wear a mask. I cleaned the glasses with a bleach wipe after I washed them with water. I opened a new pack of cups and poured fresh listerine into the cup- they had a cup of listerine waiting for me but I didn't trust it because I had to clean the dental chair and the goggles they give you to wear. I definitely must find a professional clean establishment for dental work. This is no longer the place. I will never return or recommend this place again!
