When I decided to get a puppy who weighed 6 1/2 pounds, I knew I needed to install a puppy fence that had aluminum bars which were closer together at the bottom (ground level) than at the top. I had, however, an initial problem. The survey of my home, needed for the transaction, was not in my closing documents and could not be found anywhere. Fortunately, Tish in the Best Fence office rode to the rescue. She contacted people she knew in allied fields and located what I needed. Her years of experience with Best Fence had plainly allowed her to develop seriously useful contacts. The company employees who installed the fence were friendly and reliable, and when they left, they took with them all debris created by the installation. Once I got my puppy, I realized that she was a "digger." That was a particular problem because my backyard was not flat, which had made it a challenge to have the fence hug the ground while still looking even at the top. I emailed an SOS to Tish and she promptly sent out an experienced employee who swiftly lowered the fence closer to the ground while still preserving the appearance at the top. My puppy is now safer as a result of the company's skill and compassion. Lovely people with whom to work!

His crew was on site and ready to go to work, he was doing slabs on a patio a driveway and sidewalk. He did a demo on the first day removing the old slabs and prepared the areas for pouring the new slabs, a thorough clean up including removing the dumpsters. His crew was here on the pour date and ready to go work, poured both slabs. On the 3rd day he restored the property back to its original state. and moved on to their next job. These guys were great, everyone on the crew knew their job. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs the professional help. In January 2019, I hired the Garage Door Guy's to install a door. 5 years later, my painter pointed…read moreout a sag and explained that two center struts, required by hurricane code, were missing. My invoice stated there should be four struts, but only two were installed--one at the top, one at the bottom, leaving the center unsupported. I contacted the company, and Chris, a partner, agreed that missing struts caused the crack in two panels. After discussions with the manufacturer, we settled on $300 for replacement panels, though I felt this was unfair given the original mistake. Despite this, I agreed and waited. After a month, I called back, spoke to the company president (who promised a callback), then a repairman returned and replaced the panels. When it came to pay, I was presented with an invoice for $400 instead of the agreed $300. The invoice listed $300 for parts and $100 for labor, though labor was never previously discussed with Chris. After some back-and-forth, I was told there would be no warranty on anything. I wrote a $300 check as promised. The repair person did quality work, but I was frustrated that I had to pay for correcting an original installation mistake. I expected the company to stand behind its work. They stand behind nothing and use unprofessional tactics to make you feel dirty every time they leave. Check the BBB rating.

I am leaving this review in part because I believe homeowners need to be aware that Tree Masters…read moreand Florida Tree Masters are not the same company. Recently, a solicitor from Florida Tree Masters came to my home raising vague concerns about my trees. The interaction left me uncomfortable. The representative was going door-to-door, had no clearly marked company vehicle in sight, would not provide specific details about the supposed concerns, and repeatedly emphasized that he would be back in our neighborhood frequently. The entire experience felt far more like a sales pitch designed to create urgency than a professional tree assessment. Afterward, I contacted Tree Masters directly because I wanted an opinion from a company I knew and trusted. The difference was remarkable. Tree Masters responded promptly, conducted a professional evaluation of my property, clearly explained their findings, and confirmed there was nothing that required immediate attention. There were no scare tactics, no pressure, and no attempt to sell unnecessary services--just honest expertise. What concerns me most is that I've noticed reviews online from people who appear to have confused Florida Tree Masters with Tree Masters. Based on my experience, that confusion is understandable given the similarity in names, but it is unfortunate because the quality, professionalism, and approach of Tree Masters speak for themselves. If you are considering tree work, verify which company you are actually contacting. My experience with Tree Masters was excellent, and they remain the only tree service company I would trust with my property.
