I visited Duval Acura for a scheduled oil change appointment and was the first customer in line. Despite this, I was left waiting over 15 minutes while technicians attended to others who arrived after me. I had to ask for assistance before being acknowledged. When I was finally helped, I was quoted $208 for an oil change with tire rotation and balancing. I was then told my dust filter was "very dirty" and needed replacement for $149. I declined, knowing I could replace it myself for a fraction of the cost. I asked to see a photo of the filter, and surprisingly, the technician returned to say it didn't need replacement after all. This experience left me feeling that the service was not only disorganized but also potentially dishonest. It was my first visit--and it will be my last. I hope this feedback encourages more transparency and respect for customers' time and intelligence. read more

I've purchased 3 cars here. Each time it was an easy experience. The service department was great and probably the only place I would allow my teenage daughter to take her own car in. She had an issue with a warning light at school and her college town didn't have an Acura dealership. I called Duval and the GM happened to be walking through service and picked up the phone. He was awesome. He arranged for her car to be picked up by roadside service and taken 90 miles to the dealership and delivered back to her. They went so over and above what I expected. I recently (9/2024) called service and they were changing the computer system because the dealership had been sold. I hope the new owners keep the same quality. read more

This is my second time coming to the dealership since I bought my 2024 A-Spec Integra-- I drove from Orlando in spite being near multiple Acura Dealers. I again drove to Jacksonville for the follow-up service. There was a misunderstanding about my service interval (my misunderstanding)-- Maris (service attendant) and Merrick (service manager) took care of me anyways-- THAT is why I keep driving 160 miles one way to go to Duval Acura-- Sales (Alex Coble-- the MAN!!!!) and the Service is impeccable. Horrible experience. I drove 30 minutes to test drive and possibly buy a specific vehicle. After I test drove the vehicle the salesman refused to negotiate so I left the dealership. 5 minutes after I left the salesman called me and requested that I come back and accused me of having the keys to the vehicle I test drove. I told him I didn't have the keys and II can't come back because I have to pick up my son, I told him to check the back tailgate and he said they aren't there (keep reading, they were there) we ended the call. 2 minutes later he called back and asked where I'm picking up my son and he'll meet me there, insinuating that I have the keys. I told him over and over again that I dont have them but he insisted that I did. I turned around and went back to the dealership and told the salesman to meet me where I parked the vehicle. When I got there the salesman was standing in front of the, the keys were hanging out of the back tailgate. The salesman blamed me for putting them there. All I gotta say is, WOW. This is my 2nd car that I bought from there! My 2nd car I bought about 3 weeks ago- BMW. I had issue yesterday that I needed the tire key for it because I was getting rims put on it. I feel like the professional wasn't hitting for me when I called asking for the key for the tires. Whoever was the first original person who answered my call from the sales team, I didn't want to hear that I should've bought an Acura. My sales person could be more professional, I should have waited the next day for A-train because he was my original sales person and I loved his professionalism with the whole process. Deplorable customer service. It's virtually impossible to talk to a live person who will give you actual answers. They prefer either AI generated answers or texting which they never respon to. Also, I did manage to speak to a person in service named Mike who I was told was a service manager. He answered my initial question, but I called back because I had another simple question. I asked for him since I'd just spoken with him. When he.answered the phone and heard my question ( regarding the price he literally just quoted me) he said he needed to transfer me to another service advisor. Said service adviso,r ARIC, was most easily reached by text. I never received a response to my text nor a return phone call and it has been over 24 hours. I canceled my appt and will not be returning if at all possible. Would give zero stars if it were an option. If you expect responsive and timely customer service run as far and fast from this business as you can! read more

Had a bad experience at Duval Acura and this will be my last time servicing my car here. I called their service department requesting a quote to replace front right wheel bearing. I was quoted $529 for parts and labor over the phone. I had an appointment and I brought the car in. The advisor said I need to do a diagnostic to determine which wheel bearing is bad. The $100 diagnostic fee would be waived if I went ahead and do the repair. After the diagnostic was completed, the service advisor came back to me and said BOTH wheel bearing needed to be replaced. They wanted $700 per wheel bearing, a total of $1400 plus taxes. I told the service advisor I was quoted $529 over the phone. He said they don't have any record of quoting me $529 over the phone in their system. Before I brought my vehicle to Duval Acura, I took it to Coggin Honda Jacksonville. Honda told me only the Front Right wheel bearing needed to be replaced, not both. They quoted me $575, about $50 more than Duval Acura. It wasn't worth the hassle to save $50. Duval Acura eventually honored the price they quoted me after I made a big scene and flipped out at the dealership. The service manager played their recording and said that the service advisor did indeed quoted me $529. The manager said the advisor quoted me a "wrong" price but agree to honor the price. They thought they could fool me into locking me in with a diagnostic fee. I don't even think they checked the vehicle. I had Duval Acura replaced just the front right wheel bearing. I didn't trust that a proper diagnostic was done. And I've had nothing but positive experience at Coggin Honda Jacksonville and took their recommendation. And would you know the noise went away after I replaced the 1 wheel bearing. It would have been a waste of money had I replaced the wheel bearing for the other side. My service advisor (basically a sales person) was a short Disabled Veteran who tried to rip me, another veteran, off. I guess the service advisors at this dealership is paid by commission. If you own an Acura, take it to Coggin Honda of Jacksonville. They are more honest and reliable from my experience. Most Acuras especially the older ones share the same parts and fluids. And if for some reason the part number is different, the Honda dealership will order the parts from Acura. Any Master Honda technician can work on a Acura vehicle. Save yourself money in this inflated economy where businesses are trying to rip consumers off, greedy. They're lucky I didn't file a complaint with Acura's Corporate office. read more

I leased a vehicle from here. Once in the finance department, the payment was not what was agreed to. The finance guy, Khalid, fixed the problem and we moved on to electronically signing the rest of the paper work. I was told by Hector (sales) and Khalid (finance) that I was signing a 10,000 mile per year 40,000 mile 4 year lease. I was worried about going over miles but Khalid assured me that I wold be fine (I really do not drive much more than that). So, I agreed and signed everything. Once I got my first bill in the mail, the milage said 7,500 miles allowed per year!!!! No, I was never told about this change in terms nor did I see it in the blur of paperwork that I signed (always read EVERYTHING) I attempted to resolve this at the dealership and through the manager. No one was willing to help, hands in the air, nothing can be done. This is not true as the paperwork is not final until 30 days after sale (what I was told). I filed with BBB and my last ditch effort to fix this will be News4Jax. All I want is what I was told. 4 year 40,000 miles. Not too hard to do but they are not willing to resolve this issue. Bad business all around. I will never shop there again as the new ownership is a total scam (this was my fifth car that I got from Duval Acura, and the last). Buyer BEWARE! read more

5 stars for Casey in the service center who absolutely saved my day! My battery died and I totally panicked. I have never had any issues with my 2019 Acura, but little did I know the original battery was very low. How would I have known this? There was no notification on my dash board to inform me that my battery was low. I am new to owning a car and am learning how this all works. I had freshly gotten my windows tinted when the car battery died. They jumped the car and I had to drive straight to Duval Acura. I called the store and very angrily asked a thousand questions. Casey was friendly and patient. I asked him if I could come within minutes and he agreed. I pulled up to the service center and couldn't open my window since they just got tinted. I also couldn't turn the car off since the battery was dead. I literally just swung open the door and yelled for help! haha! It was a sight. I went in and Casey calmed me down. He told me it was no problem and they would put in a new battery within 30 minutes. He showed me to the waiting room where there were snacks and waters. He explained a few other benefits to me having acura when he checked me out ($200 later). Now I have a new battery and don't have to worry about being stranded. After relocating to Florida, I needed to find a new dealership to service my car. I tracked down the local Acura dealers and this one stood out to me. I tried to make an appointment through my Acura application on my phone, but they wanted me to come out mid-October. I think it was because they give out loaners and come and pick up the vehicle. This is very nice service that I don't need. I picked up the phone and gave them a call. I spoke with a very nice person named Robin. She worked up my order and when I asked if I could come and wait in the lobby, she said I could and was able to get me in the same day. I was happy when I arrived that they had a covered area to pull under as it was raining; it's Florida right, so go figure. I was able to work in their lobby with their free WiFi, so I didn't miss a beat. Their service was fast and I was out of there in just over an hour. read more

I was truly impressed with the customer service at this Arlington location. Right when I walked in I was greeted by Jovie, one of their service guys. Super friendly. I had an appointment for 11 o'clock to have my airbags replaced. This dealership sold me a 2012 Camry with a transmission recall that was never addressed. They did not inform me of the recall or mention that the car had any transmission issues. I have been going to Duval Acura for the past few years to get my car serviced and every time I am greeted with a friendly and professional team! They are very honest and upfront and I never feel like I am pressured to do any additional maintenance on my car unless I want to. On one occasion when my car randomly started acting up at like 4pm, they were able to fit me in the same day AND give me a loaner. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Was interested in a new car and received an email offer which seemed fair. Then contacted the sales person to speak about the car. During the conversation he asked if I wanted to pay cash or finance the car. I was undecided which depended on interest rates. I knew Acura was not offering low rates on this exact car so I asked if they also worked with Bank of America...he indicated yes, we work with many large banks. I'd looked at B of A (my bank) rates online and they seemed reasonable a 6.5% given my good credit. I told the salesperson that I needed to decide on color and would call back within 24 hours. I selected the color and called the next morning to put down a $2k deposit. At that point the manger called me back to let me know of a "miscommunication". He told me I could only finance through Acura at 8.95% interest ....no option to pay cash or go through my bank. What is it called when a fair deal is changed at the last minute....starts with "Bait And...." The "miscommunication" should have been handled without involving me...if it was a mistake, train your folks so it does not happen again but don't erode trust with a client. I should never have known of the "miscommunication" or been forced into an interest rate that is not competitive. Good luck to others.....get in writing at each and every step. My husband and I stopped by Duval Acura this past Saturday with no intentions of making a purchase. We were in need of a new car as my husbands looked like a petri dish inside, along with some major mechanical issues. Our plan was to drive the Atlantic strip and stop at various car dealerships to get an idea of what car and price we were truly looking for. Duval Acura was only our 2nd stop and it was our last. We were greeted promptly by Luis, a sales associate, and ended up test driving a car we loved that was in our price range. We ended up purchasing a car that day and with the extensive help from R in the financial dept., we left a happy couple. We had to return back on Monday to bring my husbands car, as we were driving my car on Saturday. R was able to get us a better rate and a better warranty as well. Both Luis and R were great, dealt with my sarcasm and jokes with smiles on their faces. Duval Acura is speedy in their responses and quick to bargain in order to sell you a vehicle. Bought a used Jaguar from them and even purchased a warranty. They put the car on stilts and caked it with makeup so that I could essentially find all of the problems over the next couple of months of buying. Now they won't even help with all of the repairs I'm having to pay for out of warranty, even something as rudimentary as bad brake pads and rotors. Buyer beware. read more

The sales person Sergi was very rude, it was my husband and myself that went in there and when I spoke to him he didn't even acknowledge me. It was as if I was invisible when I was speaking but as soon as my husband would talk he would acknowledge him and answer his questions.
