This cemetery sits several miles outside the Manor city limits. It's one of those "in the middle of…read morenowhere" cemeteries surrounded on all sides by the quiet Texas countryside. It's fairly small, sitting on about 2 acres more or less. This is still an active cemetery with some recent interments. There are many of the newer headstones depicting the photos of those interred. As a result, it would be logical to assume this is primarily an African-American cemetery. Many of the older markers are either toppled or in some state of disrepair. The cemetery has a lot of randomness to it according to how the graves are laid out. Most of the graves are made of granite, but there are some from the early 20th century cast in concrete, a cheaper material. The oldest grave I could find was from 1897. The one predominant name I found here was the name Morrow. If you're looking for a peaceful place in the country to make your forever home, this would be a good choice.

This tree is over 400 years old standing at 57 + feet with a span of 80 feet. The trunk is 50+ inches with a circumference of 13 freaking feet! It is majestic people! I have had a love affair with this tree since the first time we met. She is magical and powerful. It is located in the median on Quest Blvd. I love to go and sit under her and just let my thoughts go. In a sense, meditate. Can you imagine how many secrets this tree could tell. I mean being 400 years old an all, ya' gotta know some good tales. Every year during the Christmas Holidays this tree is decorated with over 30,000 lights, and, it is a site to behold! One of the most beautiful things you will ever see. This beautiful Live Oak has free access. The Cedar Park Heritage Society has done a wonderful job at preserving this wonderful tree.
