As a big supporter of local business, I try to visit locally owned touchless washes. Unfortunately,…read moresometimes that means when machines malfunction ownership is unable to be on site right away. They have a life too. Thankfully John was an easy phone call away when the machine ate my change. We worked out a plan to get my refund that worked for the both of us. Washes range from $10-$16 dollars. I used Squeaky Clean consistently before the corporate chain car wash arrived in Pleasant Hill. I…read moresigned up with the chain because the "unlimited" wash membership was less expensive. I still try to use Squeaky Clean from time to time because it's locally owned and the owner is responsive. I accidentally selected the wrong bay once in the app and lost the wash I'd paid for because the bay I selected was closed for repairs. The owner reached out within a few hours. When I hadn't responded by the next afternoon, he followed up and provided a code for a free wash to make up for it even though I was clear it was my fault. Good luck even getting ahold of "customer service" at the chain washes. Given that I haven't used the chain more than 5-7 times a month with my "unlimited" plan that I perceived to be a better value.. I think I will be canceling it and signing up for one of Squeaky Cleans plans next month. I'm certain the chain doesn't need the business and convinced that Squeaky Clean appreciates it based on my experiences.

The Shine Shop - Vacuum's but no hand held air guns. Tough to realize after the fact, especially in cold weather.

After all the time that I was waiting I left and a few days later got charged almost $45 when it should've been $10. I called in multiple times after opening, got sent to voicemail several times. I then got through a couple times and was put on hold for several minutes even though I was the first collar in line. I came in in the following evening and was told that I had to come in person between the hours of 7 AM and 3 PM to get my refund which caused me to have to call out of work. In addition to all of that every single time that I come, I ask for touchless, but somebody in the wash area typically messes up and I get the brushes on my car. I have scratches on my windshield. All in all after talking with the manager and talking with the employee from the last time, not once did I get an apology. Each time I was just asked if I wanted to sign back up and give them more money. Spend your money somewhere else.

If you're not comfortable playing hardball with your money don't go here. I kept getting asked more and more questions about why I wouldn't buy a membership.
