I used Squeaky Clean consistently before the corporate chain car wash arrived in Pleasant Hill. I…read moresigned up with the chain because the "unlimited" wash membership was less expensive. I still try to use Squeaky Clean from time to time because it's locally owned and the owner is responsive. I accidentally selected the wrong bay once in the app and lost the wash I'd paid for because the bay I selected was closed for repairs. The owner reached out within a few hours. When I hadn't responded by the next afternoon, he followed up and provided a code for a free wash to make up for it even though I was clear it was my fault. Good luck even getting ahold of "customer service" at the chain washes. Given that I haven't used the chain more than 5-7 times a month with my "unlimited" plan that I perceived to be a better value.. I think I will be canceling it and signing up for one of Squeaky Cleans plans next month. I'm certain the chain doesn't need the business and convinced that Squeaky Clean appreciates it based on my experiences.

After all the time that I was waiting I left and a few days later got charged almost $45 when it should've been $10. I called in multiple times after opening, got sent to voicemail several times. I then got through a couple times and was put on hold for several minutes even though I was the first collar in line. I confirmed with employee if this is $15.00 each month and employee responded, it's $15.00 for all 3 months. Because this would total $5.00 a month I questioned their current special again with employee and their response was again, it's $15.00 for all 3 months, so I signed up! At a later date, I was going through receipts in my car and I questioned this again, so I contacted their # which is 1-833-712-1747. I spoke to a very helpful gal who mentioned that I may possibly be given a free month for the mix up, as she transferred me to a James at their corporate office. He said, it's incorrect what the employee told me and it's $15.00 EACH month for 3 months. It's exactly what I had originally thought. James with his cockiness felt superior to the customer over the phone, as if the customer is at fault for "hearing" the special incorrectly, although I reiterated with their employee a few times about their current special. I don't think James thought I'd cancel my membership over the phone with him, as my family has been with this company on and off for several years. I most likely would not have cancelled, but due to James superior attitude and his desperate need to feel like a big man, I'll now suggest for James taking a class on phone etiquette and tact, as he has no personality dealing with customers. James, if I can give you any helpful advice; I'd suggest just sit back, take a deep breathe, look up at the ceiling and get up out of your chair, then walk over to the nearest mirror and lean in, take a close look and say to yourself; I probably need to stay the F off of the phone. Have a nice day, James!
