I came back after not going for a while only to see the vibe has completely shifted to some hyper-commercial coffee shop. There is no reason why a coffee and a matcha should cost $19 in the RGV. I don't even pay that in Austin. The employees are still great, nice, kind people. The place has just lost its integrity and charm. Overly expensive and pretty mid now. I left once they made me move my car for a market. Just block it off next time. I also hate the ugly posters in the front window. The ambiance is very chill with music playing in the background. We were nicely greeted and given time to see the menu before being asked if this was our first time here. The girl was very nice in letting us know how the menu was and even made suggestions of their best sellers. They do offer the " buzzed" ( alcoholic) ice cream as it's their specialty however they have non- " buzzed " ice cream as well. I liked that even thought they have their recommended flavors, you can still modify them. We got the death by chocolate, but changed the base to vanilla flavor ice cream.
