This visit was a drive-thru order for us. They did let us know they were pretty busy, which is totally understandable, but I will say the wait was a bit on the longer side before we got our drinks. As for the coffee itself -- my husband ordered a decaf latte with tiramisu syrup, and unfortunately the flavor fell a little flat. He mentioned it tasted very weak overall, and the tiramisu didn't really come through at all. I ordered a decaf latte with cookie dough syrup. Mine was decent -- the coffee itself tasted good -- but similar to his, the syrup flavor didn't quite match what I expected. It didn't really give that cookie-dough taste, just a light sweetness. Price-wise, it came to just under $15 for one medium decaf latte and one large decaf latte with syrups, which feels pretty fair for specialty coffee drinks. Overall, not a bad stop -- especially if you're looking for a pet-friendly coffee spot with a patio -- but I do wish the flavored syrups had been a bit stronger and more true to taste. I'd be open to trying them again and exploring other flavors on the menu.

The line to order goes by pretty fast, and the wait to get your order wasn't long either. All the baristas were really nice and created a great atmosphere. This was my first time having their quiche, and it was great! The store itself is great, plenty of seating inside and out, and there are bathrooms. I also thought it was really cute that local artwork was up for sale! Also, there is plenty of parking nearby.

Some outdoor seating for a bit of peace, a countertop if you want to be in the magic being made, and tables to get some work done or catch up with friends and colleagues. I've heard business meeting, meetups, dates, podcasts and book club discussions. Love the place! The use of coffee bags as decorations and other rustic decor makes me happy. The icing to update the review is my little guy spilled his water, one of the staff made him a little crab craft to match his shirt just to cheer him up. That's just kindness.

The staff is very personable, and extremely friendly. It gets pretty busy since its a new hot spot on base so you have to gauge the time and come in at a decent time but it is worth the wait. The complaints of wait time are inconsiderate, if you don't want to wait or pay for quality items then get behind the counter and do it yourself or go somewhere else. Highly recommend.

The prices are competitive, the choices are numerous and the execution is pretty good. You can't go wrong with trying it out once to see what the hype is about for yourself. As for me, my frequency will be based on time and temperament b/c sometimes I like to people watch with my pinky up writing some standup material. Nothing better than observing people and crafting jokes about our nature while mainlining caffeine. But I prefer better scenery to do so rather than the concrete jungle.

They do not have bathrooms, however, the nearby bathroom was well maintained and suitable for myself as well as a diaper change for my daughter. My husband and I are vegan and the reason I cannot give 5 stars to this business is there are no readily available vegan options on the menu. It is a good spot for vegetarians, but the menu is lacking dairy free/egg free options without meat. When we spoke to the employees taking orders about what we could eat as vegans, I appreciate how patient and creative they were to come up with a solution. We ended up ordering a pizza with no cheese and all the available vegetable toppings. The pizza did look beautiful. I thought the presentation was lovely. The best part of the pizza was the crust. I am a sucker for a wood fired crust. The toppings did not taste great. The flavors were a little too acidic for my preference. I assume the cheese would have mellowed that out and this pizza was not really meant to be veganized. I thank The DIME for doing all they could to accommodate my vegan family. I do hope next time I visit there is an actual vegan option on the menu I can enjoy.

I walked in when I discovered that Gnome was unexpectedly closed for renovations. I grabbed my coffee and a muffin and sat in a cafe height chair and looked out the window (pic) and realized 'I could have gone to Halo' (smacks forehead)- I am looking across the street at a better spot for coffee. That's the bottom line. PJ's coffee is decent and hot. The orange cranberry muffin was as expected- good flavors, nothing unusual. They heated it up for me which is nice. I can use my ID badge to pay which is convenient for me. They apparently do have bagels but they are not in the case and there is no food menu (only an extensive coffee menu which today features some fun mardis gras flavors- none of which I tried). They keep the bagels in the fridge and they are toast-your-own. I found out too late to try these.

I've tried a few different drinks including the iced coffee, granita, and some of their seasonal lattes and all have been good. My go to is always the White chocolate latte. The staff is friendly, pleasant and very efficient. They also now have punch cards where you buy 9 drinks and get your 10th free and you get entered for pjs merchandise. I've never tried the food but there's a decent amount of seating inside and out if you need to sit and eat or study. Parking nearby is all metered or garage parking but given that this place is on a hospital campus, it's a good place to take a break if you're around.
