I hired this agency last Friday for my second home in Mendocino. I left while she was there (I had…read morea long drive) but tipped her $40 before I left. (The agency was charging me $250.). I was told she would be there 4-5 hours (she was there 2 1/2, although that wouldn't have mattered if the house was clean.). When my son-in-law arrived an hour and a half later, she was gone and these photos show the state of things. I notified the agency, assuming this was below their standards and was told it was within their standards and they offered me $25 off my next use of their service. Clearly I won't be using them again. (I have never written a review complaining about a housecleaner before, I think overall theirs is a difficult, thankless job.)

We were SO glad to find Working Hands Home & Property Maintenance Services because they were the only local business I could find that advertised Home Cleaning, Junk Removal & Hauling, which was exactly what we needed. I had tried contacting other local "estate sale" types of businesses, but no one ever got back to me and I needed so much more than an estate sale! Denise Negron got back to me right away and did a walk-thru of the mobile home and gave me a quote for cleaning out all the remaining contents, hauling it to the dump, a deep cleaning of the interior, a clean sweep of the deck, window washing and carpet cleaning. It turned out to be an even bigger job than she estimated (even with her 40 years of experience) because she found that things on the walls and floors had been stapled, bolted, and glued down and were very difficult to remove. But she and her team worked long hours and got it all done and ready for sale. She didn't add on to the price, even though it took her longer than she estimated, but you can be sure I gave her a good tip on top of her quote to help compensate her for her efforts. If you are looking for someone to help you with a daunting task like I faced, I can't recommend Denise and Working Hands highly enough. She is thorough and gets the job done!
