The food at Durangos has gone straight down hill. Our last breakfast meal came with spoiled ham so smelly that the waitress almost threw up. We felt so blessed that at bill time they took a whopping $2 off the meal price and somehow thought that was fair. Good grief. They do have a cute little gift shop and a bar/casino. You can order food in the bar/casino as well as main restaurant area. Their prices on drinks seem much higher than 4 aces and Montana bar. Two double crowns came in at $17. Now back onto the food again. BBQ.....ugh....being from Texas I believe I know BBQ pretty well, this stuff they are throwing at you is not even close to good. Located close to I90 and across the street from a gas station, this restaurant is convenient for the weary traveler. If you are on a tight timeline then be warned, our chicken fried steak and chicken quesadilla took almost an hour from placing our order until our first bite. However, if you don't mind the wait, then you will be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the delectable delights. The dishes were bursting with flavor and quickly consumed. I could cry happy tears for having crossed paths with the wonderful staff at this restaurant. I bonded with the server named Tally and the owner Jolie (forgiveness if I misspell the names) saved our three cats from boiling in the sun when our van broke down. We had the Montana Cuban and the Carolina bbq sandwich and they were both delicious! The staff is kind and a bunch of life savers! So happy to have stumbled in on a cross country trip. What a magical little place. We also met a man from nearby our east coast hometown there and he gave us some directions. Elaine the cashier was the sweetest person I've met in ages. We stopped at Durango's because the whipped cup cafe could not be found. We shared one 1/2 smoked chicken with beans, toast, and tater tots. The chicken, juicy and nicely smoked tasted great with the home made bbq sauce. The sides were satisfying, fresh and we enjoyed the ranch salad dressing on the side. Two ice cream cones. Late post from 7/1/17: Very, very slow service. After sitting down, it took almost 10 minutes to get our order. After ordering, it took another 40 minutes before we got our food! I guess you can't blame them if the waitress is also the cashier (there's a small store in the restaurant). Got to admit, though, portions are BIG and tasty - when we finally got our order. Three stars because of service. She was really nice and helpful, but getting our food was really slow. read more

Tried this place twice, first time was slow and bland, but "okay". The second and last time; my Husband's food was spoiled, and the one other table in the place was a family of 5, where we heard the voice of a little girl say "sometime's it's not even edible"....... read more

Huckleberry French toast was soooo good. Loved the gift shop too - and they had huckleberry soda! (Love that MT huckleberry!)

Food was average. But the service was extremely poor. Restaurant was not busy and we still received sub par service. Incorrect order and incorrect bill at the end. read more

Stopped here on a third try after stopping at two other restaurants just farther west with such poor service we had gotten up and left without ordering. What a nice, welcoming presence we found in our waitress here! She was very helpful and we were allowed to sit where we wanted and had menus before us almost immediately! I had the Huckleberry BBQ burger and hubby had the chicken fried steak with a large salad. Everything was delicious and we were even offered "to-go" cups with our refills! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! read more

Really wanted a good hot fresh breakfast driving through on a long road trip. I ordered a sausage and mushroom omlet. I could have played basketball with the omlet ...very rubbery and just not fresh! Very disappointing. The waitress was nice. The gal in the giftshop that cashed us out, however, couldn't even get out a "hi", or a "how was your meal", or even a "thank you". Maybe she was having a bad day. Not worth the money. The gift shop is not worth much either. Won't stop again. Would rather save it for a mom and pop somewhere fresh and delicious and friendly! read more

My wife and I were in town for the car show this last weekend and had breakfast at Durango's Sunday morning. The Silverado Omelette we both ordered were AWESOME!!!! Plus the portion was very generous and I felt priced very competitively. And the gal that waited on us was fantastic and very nice. 2 thumbs up and a twist to you guys. Stopped for lunch on our way through Montana. Wife liked her salad. My burger was good and my soup was great. It was baked beans and bbq pork soup - I wish I had just gotten a bigger bowl of soup and skipped the burger. read more
