Michelle took our orders and immediately began grinding beans for a fresh pot of coffee. My wife ordered the Breakfast Scramble and I the Biscuits & Gravy. Both were freshly made and in our table in about 10 minutes. Large portions, fresh ingredients and homemade deliciousness! The Biscuits & Gravy were just like my Grandma's, but with bacon on top! THIS place is incredible! We went on a trip to Montana and Wyoming and stopped at every hole in the wall restaurant we could find along the way. This place is in an old schoolhouse, which is a little eerie on the inside with the pealing lead paint in the bathrooms. The staff were unbelievably friendly. The restaurant was family owned. Everything, and I mean everything, was made from scratch! We waited quite a while for our food, but the food was phenomenal. I can't wait to go back. read more

Saw good yelp reviews so decided to give it a try. Was disappointed in my choice. The outside of the location is in an old school. Inside decor is plain. We ordered breakfast. We were the only people there. The food wasn't that good. I got biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were heavy and the gravy had canned mushrooms which isn't my favorite. It looks like the building is for sale wondering if the place is suffering due to Covid and economic issues. read more

We were disappointed with our stop at the Whipped Up Cafe. The building is beautiful, but interior cold and dirty. My husband was ok with his burrito, but it did not sit well. My breakfast was not as ordered or expected; though, the eggs were good. Service was poor, and we overheard the cook and server arguing over who would close our tab. Delicious food even though the place looks questionable when you first walk in. BBQ chicken sandwich with homemade coleslaw on top was fabulous. The fries are REAL (including skins) were fresh, hot and delicious. Sodas were cans or bottles, which is fine with us. Hubby had a BLT and fries, liked them both. We looked at the ice cream freezer but there were lids on the tubs and no flavors listed. So that was a bummer. Summary: food was very good but the place just needs a little TLC. Best breakfast in Superior. Fresh made hash browns, a homemade biscuit, crispy bacon, and eggs done perfectly. I ate dinner here the night before and the hot roast beef sandwich was the perfect answer to a day hiking around in the woods. Awesome BBQ and incredible breakfast burritos! They home make their chips for pulled pork nachos as well as dessert nachos YUM!

This cafe is in the very cool old school right in town. My family went for lunch and the food was good, fast and affordable. I had my two young sons with me and they were very accommodating with coloring books and even a high chair that turned in to a rocking horse. read more
