They did a gut renovation to our kitchen during the pandemic. Which was not an easy task. They transformed our dated galley kitchen into an absolutely beautiful, more functional kitchen. I showed them an idea I had for extra draw storage under the cabinets (kick-toe drawers) & they custom made them for us. There was a manufacturer issue with the cabinets & they contacted them immediately. Then came to our home with someone from the manufacturer to point out the issues & make sure they were resolved. And this was after we paid them in full. Fast forward to today & they came to our home to resolve an issue with one of the cabinet pulls within 24 hours of calling them to explain what happened. Which we truly appreciated because most other companies may not have done that. As I said, they are a rare find.

Worst Experience Ever - Muretti Is Completely Unprofessional…read moreWe had the worst experience imaginable with Muretti. This company caused months of delays, financial loss, and extreme stress, all due to their incompetence and complete lack of responsibility. We ordered kitchen cabinets in December 2024. When the cabinets arrived in April 2025, our renovation was still in progress, so we asked Muretti to store them in their warehouse for one month. They charged us $400, which we paid. Months later, when the cabinets were finally delivered, several critical items were missing, including the island cabinet, dishwasher panel, and accessories. Muretti could not explain whether these items were lost or never manufactured. After weeks of uncertainty, they told us the missing parts had to be reordered and would arrive in July. Since our renovation was already underway, we had no choice but to agree. When installation finally began, another serious issue occurred: the sink cabinet was the wrong size and did not fit, forcing our contractor to stop work entirely. On top of that, Muretti delivered parts that did not belong to our kitchen, which our contractor discovered in August during installation. These incorrect parts remained in our apartment for months, taking up space and interfering with the workers' ability to complete the job. Another major problem is that Muretti kitchens are not built to American standard sizes. They follow European standards, meaning the cabinets are shorter and result in significant loss of storage space--something we were never informed about. Muretti then promised to reorder the correctly sized cabinet and assured us it would be delivered by mid-October. This was extremely frustrating, as we had to move into our new home in September, living for months without a functional kitchen. Despite our dissatisfaction, we agreed only because they guaranteed the delivery would not go beyond mid-October. After we moved in, the owner, Marcin, came to our apartment and told us the cabinet would now arrive at the end of November, clearly taking advantage of the fact that we were already living there. He did not apologize even once. Because our main contractor finished the renovation in September, we had to pay out of pocket, realizing that completing the kitchen would take several more months. Since these delays were entirely caused by Muretti's mistakes, we asked them to take responsibility for completing the remaining work, including cabinet installation, plumbing, electrical work, and repainting walls damaged during installation. At first, Marcin refused, claiming none of this was his fault and that it was our contractor's responsibility. Only after we became extremely upset did he finally agree. When Marcin came to our apartment, we showed him the chaotic conditions we were forced to live in--kitchen appliances and belongings scattered throughout the apartment. Instead of apologizing, he shamelessly told us that we chose to live in this mess. He then only completed part of the work, refused to finish it, refused to pay his worker, told us to hire our own contractor again, and left the apartment unfinished. Additionally, he never offered to refund the $400 storage fee, even though only half of the kitchen cabinets were stored instead of the complete set. Muretti is a terrible company, and its owner, Marcin, is unprofessional, unethical, irresponsible, and dishonest. He takes no responsibility for his actions and showed complete disregard for the impact his mistakes had on our lives. This experience caused serious financial loss, emotional stress, and months of disruption. Based on our experience, we strongly warn others to avoid Muretti. We are now preparing legal action due to the significant problems they caused.

He built out a full basement for us which included bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, utility room, closets and even a real cedar closet with actual cedar planks including the ceiling. He has replaced every window in the house with Andersen windows and even added French doors, sliding doors and a box window. He changed every door in the house to solid six panel doors and assisted in the family room and office built in by installing them. He build the most incredible custom walk in closet converting a bedroom into a spectacular use of space. He has renovated 3 bathrooms and kept them updated as needed most recently replacing a honed marble threshold in the shower and reinstalling the custom glass doors. The most recent improvement was the replacement of our gas water heaters since the old ones were starting to leak. He not only upgraded what we had, had the new ones delivered and installed all in one day in order to get us back up and running with little inconvenience. He has installed whole house water filtration, added instant hot and a garbage disposal making sure we have all the modern conveniences a home should have. He treats our home as if it is his own. On a personal note he has seen my children grow up and we have seen his son join his business and grow and learn from the best. The team worked seamlessly with the architect and the inspectors to make sure the permits were all in place. Tony was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was patient in answering my numerous questions and concerns along the way. Gus (the main carpenter) was incredible in installing custom built in shelves in various areas. He is a true artist!! So, it turned out to be a welcome pleasure to deal with Broadway Kitchen and Bath's owner, Jeff Chinman. From the beginning, he was honest and forthcoming about all aspects of the renovation. He really is a gem: a NYC vendor for many years who really has the customer's best interests in mind. While the showroom is unimpressive, it turns out that everything ordered through them turned out to be of good quality and reasonably priced. As various unexpected expenses were incurred, additional charges were also handled in a fair manner. At times when another contractor might have taken the easy way out on some aspect of the job, we found that Jeff would listen to our concerns and would try to find a solution that would satisfy us. No cutting corners! The two associates who were assigned to our job were terrific: Jimmy and Oscar. They managed to be as unobtrusive as they could be (e.g., cutting wood out on our balcony even in the bitter cold to minimize dust and noise). Would I hire them again? YES, absolutely. My wife came up with the Idea of having our original cabinets professionally painted and stopped by Anchor Glass and Cabinet in Great Neck. The Owner Greg came to our house to look at the kitchen and gave us some great ideas and designed a whole new look that totally transformed our Kitchen at a very fair cost that was in line with our budget. . He added beautiful new crown molding to the top of our original cabinets and then had his shop take off all the doors on the cabinets and had them custom painted ( with a color that we picked ) in his shop. His custom painter Kim then came to our house and taped and sanded and resprayed the frames of our cabinets and reinstalled the freshly painted cabinet doors . His capenter installed a new backsplash and Greg installed new handles on the cabinet doors. Greg's ideas and work totally transformed our kitchen. All of our friends can't believe how great our Kitchen looks. If your kitchen needs a new look I highly recommend Greg of Anchor Glass and Cabinet and his team of painters and carpenters. They are very professional and do excellent work .
