We visited this department store a few days over the course of our trip. I wasn't sure at first what I was planning to buy but I kept eyeing one of the Louis Vuitton perfumes that I had previously discovered on a trip to Maui. Their perfumes are definitely on the pricey side but the nice thing is they're small enough for carry on liquid limits, they have a magnetic lid, and they're refillable - and the refills are also cheaper than the initial bottle purchase. The amount of times I sprayed that perfume on myself over my Maui and Dublin trips, I was sold - so that was my first add to cart moment. Next, was a belt. I thought I wanted a Gucci Marmot belt but my cousin convinced me to check out the Celine department - instead I went with a Triomphe belt. It's such a classic and timeless design so it was the right choice. And finally - the ultimate big purchase was in the Chanel department. For a long time I have been eyeing the goatskin grosgrain cap toe slingback heels. I have tried them on in NYC before but hadn't gone through with a purchase - until this trip; it was finally time! Also to add, every single sales person that we interacted with was incredibly nice. Elsewhere, designer stores don't always have the best customer service; however, I felt nothing but kindness when I was mulling over my big purchases - which to me were really big. And they were kind enough to combine them into one receipt so I could get the best VAT refund as well so extra thanks to each of the sales persons who helped me. The VAT refund process was super easy too - I just dropped off the completed form with receipt information at the airport and after a few weeks received the credit on my cad.

Tax-Free Shopping: For tourists (non-EU/GB residents), the tax-free shopping option is a huge plus. When you purchase your item, let them know you're interested in doing the tax-free rebate. You should bring your passport but the person who helped me said a photo was fine. They'll print out a receipt for you to submit to Planet at the airport. The minimum purchase is 75 euros to qualify. If the purchase amount of your goods is below 2,000 euros, you don't need to get a customs stamp at the airport. Just return your completed form at Planet desk after security or deposit it in the Planet drop box and they'll do it on your behalf. As i was packing my car with my shopping a security man asked me did i pay for my messages i reacted in a shocked way after already going through hell over the wallet. I said to the security guy ive a receipt. His anwser was sorry wrong car . What a joke he was . He taught i was robbing obviously because he said did i pay for my food . He was way out of order . But again to the girl on the floor who called my name and to the elderly lady i thank very much . Security guy omg you were wrong .

They also do a smattering of furniture although that does tend to hinge on the pricey side of things. However if you need anything for your house this is usually a good place to start. Their cookware section is usually well stocked, and for some reason they sell a lot of photo frames. Upstairs there a smallish section of mens, womens and childrens clothing, which range in price although you can get a good deal on the kids stuff. Mostly they sell staples like t-shirts, tracksuits and jumpers, but they do have some fashion items as well particularly in the Savida section for women. The problem with Dunnes is that it can't decide what it wants to be. In the 80s it was all about being cheap, then in the celtic tiger it went all upmarket, and now it's being undercut by the German supermarkets. At the moment they're dropping prices and trying to compete which works on some items but not in overall shopping trolley comparison I find. Still though this Dunnes is nice and it's where I'd go for fresh bread, cakes and salads.

They've got all the standard sections: makeup, apparel for men, women and kids, home goods/small electic and gifts. In terms of clothes they have a wide range of styles and prices, with sections geared towards teenagers and young women, mature ladies and working gals. Ditto for the guys. The lingerie section here is excellent, and they have tons of bras that will support you way better than anything from Penney's. This is also a great place to check out if you're a bit bigger up top, as they have lots of styles that aren't just standard ugly big-boob-bras.

Behind the foodhall is the clothing section which has a quite good selection for a suburban M&S. Going through this you come out into the shopping centre. There's a nice M&S cafe at this entrance to the shopping centre. You can usually find what you're looking for here although it can be crazy busy at weekends and towards Christmas
