Kept very clean but a lot of broken machines...no smaller machines for those little loads. Can be pretty busy on weekend.

We're snowbirds, and not regular laundromat users. So we have tried a bunch. This one touches me- it's been there for 50 years! And the owner/operator is right there helping anyone! I don't mean to speak out of turn, but she is beautifully put together- but does appear to have a bit of difficulty getting about. Perhaps a bad back? Not my business, but boy I sure give her credit! Nice and clean. Open from 8:00a to 8:30p. Last load wash need to be in by 7:30p. The price is a bit steep in my opinion, but I have not shopped laundry mat prices since the college days so it's been years so for all I know this is the going rate nowadays. Not busy at all when we were there. They have lots of washers and dryers. If you forget or run out of detergent, they have mini packets in vending machines for sale. Seating, drink machine and magazines while you wait. If the had wifi and tv that would definitely bump up the star rating. They have regular size washers for $2.00, Commercial front load washers for $4.00, Large commercial front load washers for $5.00. Totally worth it as I was able to throw in two king size coverlets and a queen size spring blanket and it all fit. Just wish they had more than one large commercial size washer. We had to wait 20 mins for it bc it was occupied when we first got there. Dryers are $.25/5 mins. For an average load, u are looking to spend at least $.75 - $1.00+ to dry. We spent $14.50 on a week of laundry for two people and blankets. Kind of steep if I had to shell out this much every week - so I'm really hoping our washer and dryer comes in ASAP. I think this is the only self serve laundry mat in Dunnellon. They also have laundry service. I would be back again to launder heavy items like comforters etc. read more
