The manager on morning shift, the 3 times this month I have stopped in this location, is always smiling and happy. She greets everyone that enters the store. I appreciate her greeting and her attitude. It really is what brings me by this store. I get a doughnut or two, a large black coffee, some times I even get a breakfast sandwich too. I spend any where between $4 - $16 on most of my purchases here. I also get a dozen doughnuts for my clients and vendors every once in a while. This is the place I will give my business in future stops at a Dunkin location. read more

A no problem visit I arrived at the crack of dawn, looking for some coffee and a couple of donuts. I came to the right place, and at the right time. It was so early there were no other customers trying to order and the donuts I received were fresh. My order taker was more business than bubbly, and I had my food and drink in just a minute or two. I LOVE Dunkin' Donuts, but this location sucks at making coffee. I've given them the benefit of doubt time and time again, but after the third time, i can't say different. I go to two other DDs, so i know it's not the company. The other locations always make it great! At least the hash browns were good. So I want to start off by saying my Sister runs a Dunkin and has for years. This location Is HORRIBLE. It is obviously a locally ran store that the owners DO NOT CARE. First, I was refused to add the simplest thing to my order while at the window. The coffee (clearly on the sticker states to add topping) none on it and when I asked the nasty women (there's several who work here) gave me the smartest remark, being in food and hospitality I said never mind and just put it down. Dunkin was my go-to food restaurant in philadelphia, so I figured it would be the same. No. Every time I go here, they forget something that I paid for. Yummies and Abbeys we're both closed due to limited hours so I figured I'd give this Dunkin Doughnuts another try, even though my past experiences here was pretty much the same. The doughnuts here are terrible. It's was only 9am and I got 4 doughnuts. All 4 were dry and the one Angel cream filled one I got had about a tea spoon of cream inside of it. I never expect Dunkin to be as good as a gourmet doughnut bakery but come on guys! Race trac and Wawa has better doughnuts then you. The food and drink was consistent with Dunkin' Donuts but the very very slow service leaves much to be desired. I was in line for 10 minutes before being served and only had 3 people in front of me. The gentleman who was already ordering a dozen donuts when I hopped in line was asked very annoyingly what donuts he wanted. It seemed like the girl at the cash didn't want to pack a dozen donuts. I always go inside to the counter because I like to view menus (even though I know exactly what I'm going to order), and I like to see interaction. Well, that often means extra time because 'corporate' measures and records wait times at drive-thru (similar to Taco Bell). I have been to the Dunkin Donuts several times in Venice at the peak time of business, they are always short of staff, wouldn't a business like this know when they need to overstaff like Sat and Sun mornings or any week day mornings before work? Three days in a row, a 4:15pm visit for Coffee and Donuts and I get consistently stale donuts all 3 days. How can a business justify serving stale food and charging full retail price for it??? Stay away. At 9:00 am the clerk checked what bagels were available and I ordered a coffee and a bagel. I waited over 30 minutes. All the patrons were helped, there was no one left at the counter and I asked "Where is my bagel?" They said that they were out of bagels. "Do you want a donut?" I said "No, I'll have my money back." I stood there for 25 minutes while the clerk was fiddled with the register. She handed me back $ 1.07. I asked for my receipt and my coupon back. She said "NO". Let me start off saying I never ever write reviews on businesses. But what happened today I have to address. So I've been getting Dunkin close to 3xs a week for the last 5 years. I get the same coffee every single time. Same one!!! This Dunkin is hit or miss and that's not even the problem! I don't expect different people to make my coffee exactly the same every time. The main problem is the customer service. Even when you pull up to the window they are just so lifeless. Every employee is just so unfriendly. But I still continued to go to this Dunkin because it was around the corner from my house. Well I finally spoke up today because my coffee has been being made totally wrong to the point where it looks like it had been watered down and the color was totally off every single time. It's been the last 6 visits. I let them know very politely that my daughters drink didn't have the caramel drizzle on top and my coffee has been wrong for the last 6 visits. I also let them know that nobody ever answers the phone when I try to call. I was very polite, frustrated but still polite. They never offered to fix it and after I said I don't think I'm gonna be coming back here anymore the guy at the window said "byeeeeee" totally rude. Where's the customer service? I mean even if I didn't have a problem they still don't have customer service. It's like they don't give a shit about the quality of their drinks and they definitely don't give a shit about customer service. The phone just rings and rings and rings so I decided to go inside after he said bye in a rude tone and I could hear them talking crap about me behind the counter while other customers were inside! How unprofessional. So I reiterated my issues at the counter inside and they were extremely rude, every last one of them and there was about five or six of them working. All of them were being totally rude and disrespectful. I couldn't believe other adult employees working with the public felt the need to be that disrespectful instead of just saying "I'm sorry, let me fix that" or anything besides what they were saying. ALL OF THEM. If I was on the other side of that counter I would've told my fellow employees that that's not a professional way to act nor is it customer service. There was another guy waiting at the other counter & he started yelling cause he had been waiting there for a while and no one was helping him. I'm done with this location. Now since I know the type of people that run this location it makes sense to me. Yesterday when I came there was a lady at the drive-through window and she had the sniffles and I watched her wipe her nose with her wrist. Ironically enough, today the guy at the window also had the sniffles and he kept sucking the snot back up his nose. It was absolutely disgusting. This place is a complete joke. I got a hot chocolate. When I went to sip it it didn't even taste like chocolate. It tasted like mildew mold. I was already home so I called this establishment. The person who answered the phone not only thought it was hilarious that nobody checked the machine to make sure it was producing quality product but laughed and said come back and get another. They didn't get any of our orders right (there was 7 of us), they were out of every bagel except 1 at 10 in the morning, the service was slow, there was barely anyone working there, and the food itself was mediocre. I'm a "lifer" when it comes to DD coffee and I've been able to v visit them all across the US. But this is the very first time I've ever been to a Dunkin' Donuts where they do not offer the"refill option" for your coffee! They sell the Dunkin' Donuts coffee mug,but to fill it with coffee they charge you full price, There's no such thing! I've talked before to regional supervisors for the franchises and there is the option for a refill price, but it seems that the owners of this Dunkin' Donuts choose to put the penny before the customer. I think I'm going to have to travel the extra distance and go to a different Dunkin' Donuts and see if they do the same thing and if they do offer of the refill price. Not one to usually write reviews but I've had such awful experience at this Dunkin' every single morning for the last three months of me living here. The morning staff is so rude and unprofessional. My coffee is consistently made wrong and most days I'll drink it anyway. This morning they made a hazelnut coffee instead of Carmel/french vanilla. I asked them to remake it and surely she did and didn't put in the turbo that I paid for. I drink a coffee that costs 4.36 every single day I don't think it's asking much for it to be made right. So instead of arguing with her I left and now I have a coffee with five pumps of sweetness I watched her angrily pump in and no turbo, safe to say I won't be drinking it and wasted my money. Looks like I'll be driving to another location. Evening staff is ALWAYS great and 100% more professional and kind. Think it's time fo reevaluate whose working in the morning as getting your coffee in the morning should be an enjoyable experience not one that sets the tone for a negative day. read more

I have been a DD customer for years. This is by far the worst location i have ever been too including ones in bigger cities like Tampa. The employees are barely awake & are often surely, especially the lady that takes my money at the drive thru window. Every time i see her, i cringe. She is unfriendly & will barely speak to me as she takes my hard earned money. This morning i had a coupon that she would not honor because it was only for Ft. Myers or Naples, but she was kind enough to tell me "oh englewood will take this". Englewood is not on my drive to work. I really love Dunkin for the convenience of breakfast food and beverages when I'm on the go- and my favorite is the bacon egg and cheese on croissant with hash browns on the side, which I got from this location yesterday in the drive thru. Upon driving away and taking a bite, I noticed not too far from where I took that bite there was a hair stuck to the cheese. It didn't quite look like a human hair possibly an animal but I'm not sure. I went back, asked for a manager which there seemed to be none there and they gave me a new one but I'm still upset that would even happen. I usually go to the Dunkin on Clark Road and enjoy getting the unsweetened hazelnut coffee with cream. I've been to this location twice and both times the coffee tasted like lead LOL. My wife gets her coffee black and hers seems to be OK. It must be the cream because the coffee tastes completely different than the one on Clark Road. My wife and I get breakfast from this DD frequently. Once or twice a week. We get breakfast sandwiches and sometimes a donut or a muffin. So if I frequent this business why only 2 stars? Easy enough to answer. This is a drive through that is like a casino. Its a gamble that what you order will either A- be what you get, or B- Be presented in a condition that is appetizing or makes you want to eat it. There is also the fun 3rd option which is they charge you for things and never give them to you. We have tried complaining to the management only to be told to turn around, bring the food and receipts back to the store and they make it right. I use a drive through and live 15-20 minutes away. It is not worth the hour of my life I would need to spend to make the round trip and deal with the in store people. It should just be right when it is given, every time! So why don't I check the bags before leaving???? OH Brother... I do check. But you can't tell from looking in the bag if the sandwich you are going to unwrap at home so it stays hot looks like it has been stepped on, or is missing the egg, or the cheese or something. You can't tell without unwrapping everything if for some reason they have put a breakfast sandwich on a cinnamon raison bagel instead of a plain one. It can be hard to tell upon initial glance as well if the muffins in the bag are in fact the same type you ordered. And only by checking the receipt everytime now have I prevented myself from getting robbed by this store. That having been said..... The staff is friendly, the food, when it is correct (50% of the time) is wonderful. The donuts are always the best and the prices are good. With some training and some oversight this could be a great store but I think they are content to take my money and be sloppy and disrespectful. When I asked about it the manager Janet said it only works if you have a physical card that she can swipe. What?? All smart businesses now have apps and none would allow this type of process. I frequent this location. Not so much anymore but I was coming here mostly every morning. There was the same young girl working the window who was great, knew my order and it was correct every time. I don't know if they have hired just a completely new staff because I haven't had a good experience there in over two months. I was never rude or gave a complicated order and the same young girl (a different one then previously) who was at the window gave me attitude every time. She was apparently telling other employees things because I would get multiple people sticking their heads out of the drive through window to look at me. Seriously?? I couldn't drive off once with a correct order, it was small things such as I would order a medium coolatta with whip cream and receive a small with none. So of course I would say something, my receipt would clearly say medium and whip cream. Can these ladies not read??? Then they would make me feel like the bad guy because they messed up my order and I wanted it corrected. Never again. Drive up the road to Starbucks I know its a little pricey but they have wonderful customer service and you don't have to gamble with what your going to get that day or to fight to correct your order. read more
