Alright, enough is enough. I have been holding back writing this review, but this Dunkin has failed me so many times. So many messed up orders, crazy long wait times, and many occasions where I've ordered ahead and had the person behind the counter look at me blankly and not know how to view app orders. I've waited 20 minutes for an egg wrap and a latte many times. I'd feel different if this place was always swamped or they were very busy, but what blows my mind is that it's always empty. There's never a line, or lots of orders ahead of me. It seems like the management and staff are completely checked out and also have no interest in getting things done in a reasonable amount of time. I've worked as a barista, and typically when someone orders coffee and a sandwich, the person puts the sandwich in the oven, and then works on the coffee. Here, they put the sandwich in the microwave, stare at it, wait for it to be done, then take the sandwich out/let it go cold, walk away for a few minutes, and then work on the coffee afterward. It just doesn't make any sense. I've even had DoorDashers complain to me jokingly via text when I've done delivery. I've been to lots of Dunkin's in my day, but I've never encountered one like this, or any fast food restaurant like this to be honest. Hope y'all can improve, because you're only 5 minutes away from my apartment, and I don't want to continue to have to do the 20 minute drive just to go the other location.

Hot girls run on dunkin and hot girl treat dunkin customers with kindness :)

Mariela went above and beyond in customer service!!! I am a huge cup collector and was trying all over to get the Megan the Stallion collab, and when I told her I was coming to San Carlos from Daly City she held the cup for me and wrote down my name. She was so friendly and kind!! I've been having the worst week of my life and there is no way she would have possibly known that, but having an interaction with this girl who made sure I got my collectors cup and a delicious drink, made me feel human again. Customer service and conversation with people are rare these days, so thank you for making my day special and fueling my body with the protein and caffeine it absolutely needs! Highly recommend the caramel chocolate protein here!!!

This was my first visit to Dunkin', prompted by the new Dunkin' perk added to my AMEX credit card. I used the app to order ahead, ensuring my items would be ready upon arrival. When I got there, my order was indeed ready, but the store was empty. The employees, casually sitting at the tables, pointed to my order without much professionalism. The coffee was just okay, and the donut holes were a bit dry.

Sad spider donuts. The picture makes them look better.

I came to get the spider donuts that are so damn funny on social media right now. I was wanting to buy a dozen of them, but they are the saddest, sorry looking things compared to how they are advertised. I didn't buy any. Then I bought a single donut and as I was paying the cashiers area was FILTHY!!! Like it's never been cleaned. The machines were full of dust & debris and I literally paid with my card because I could tap and not touch anything. Ew, you guys, clean it up!! Gross!

I am usually a big fan of Dunkin' and realized I had not stopped by in a while. I decided to get some coffee and donuts before visiting some friends in the area. I ended up getting some donut holes, a mixed variety of 6 donuts, and also a lightly sweetened iced vanilla latte with oat milk (about $25 total). The donuts were ok, much sweeter than I remembered. The latte was wayyy too sweet to the point where I could not drink more than 1/3 of it. I enjoyed the creaminess of the latte as it was how I remembered tasting before, but the extra syrup made it undrinkable. Service was good and they were pretty friendly. However, if you plan to stop by, go earlier in the morning because by noon most of the flavors will be sold out.

Extremely slow service and they seem more occupied with chatting and laughing as they make ans remake drinks because they got it wrong over and over due to their chatting. Got their Munchkins ans honestly I should have know from looking at their case that these Munkins were hella old and dry. But, honestly they seemed to be out of everything. I can see why they have such poor reviews because they are just not with it. They should focus on making more doughnuts and taking care of their customers rather than horsing around.

    Ask the Community - Dunkin'

Is this place really better than krispy kreme?

No, it’s not. I was so looking forward to it’s opening. I gave it two visits, bad both times, donuts are heavy and not enough of variety. The ride to Happy Donuts is worth the trip to RWC.

All the donuts tasted freshly made, had a soft dense interior, and were very delicious. The chocolate ones in particular paired very well with a cup of coffee the next morning. They also have unique ice cream flavors here. We look forward to trying those on our next visit.

The strawberry shortcake donut was delicious. The strawberries were a little too tart but the glazed donut was delicious. Mochi donuts were ok but I probably wouldn't get again. Tried a chocolate donut log with egg custard. Do not recommend the custard filling. It isn't done lengthwise and wasn't tasty. Donut itself was soft and fluffy. Overall, I'll come back for a sweet treat. I think service at this one was better than the other cause just less customers.

I came here the other early morning to buy coffee and donuts…read more The first red flag was that as I was sitting, parked in front, I took a bite of the plain old fashioned and discovered that it was stale. I went back inside and was immediately given a fresh old fashioned. The glazed cruller was ok, but it had an artificial (custard) flavor that I found a little off-putting. I had purchased two "chocolate" cruller. The glaze on this donut was NOT chocolate. The glaze tasted absolutely artificial, overly sweet and probably a health hazard. I ate just the underside of one of these donuts and threw the rest away. Sadly, the workers had not bothered to change the frying oil in a long time, so even the fresh old fashioned donut from this place, which was relatively inoffensive, suffered from an ever-so-slightly rancid flavor. The coffee was solid and they offered a lot of different options for it, such as milk and cream as well as the usual nasty French vanilla "creamer," which is the only reason that Chucks gets a second star. This business owner should radically restructure their business model to include quality over cost-cutting, because they would do better to use clean (and not soybean) oil, real ingredients without artificial flavorings, and authentic chocolate instead of whatever unpalatable garbage I experienced. They offer all kinds of superfluous menu items and they should really consider making better donuts. If I hadn't exchanged the first donut, I would have wasted money on 3 out of the 4 donuts. It is telling that rather than selling out, this business had inventory left from the day before, and they tried to sell it to me. Stan's donuts in Santa Clara often has to close early because they sell out hours before their 3PM closing time, and they don't do this disgusting quality compromise.

When they first opened for a few hours a day, the locals couldn't get enough of the homemade food and quirky atmosphere. Now, it's a San Mateo staple. Whether you're craving squishy doughnuts or a juicy burger, Apple Fritter delivers. Their wall of doughnuts as you enter from the parking lot is a tempting way to stir up your appetite. Counter service is always fast and friendly. Just pick up a menu while drooling over the doughnuts and whenever you're ready to order, someone is ready to take it. Seating is both inside and out, but sitting inside gives you the pleasure of looking at all of the fun oddities on the walls and ceiling. The food is amazing, the decor eclectic and the service cordial. Just check the hours before heading over. They cater to their hardworking employees as much as the customers, so hours are limited.

I'm super picky and tend to not like to venture off the beaten path for different kinds of ethnic foods but everything here that we had was delicious. We split the salad with pear and goat cheese, and except for a couple of decayed pieces of spring mix, which is always a problem with that stuff it was delicious. The dressing was crisp and citrusy. We split the jambalaya with chicken and it was interesting in that it was basically a large scoop of rice with a good sized piece of chicken on the side, which you had to cut up, which is not how I've seen jambalaya prepared before, but it worked. The chicken was insanely good, and the rice also was very delicious, heavy on the bell peppers. We also tried the beef empanadas and the chimichurri sauce was insanely good. We wanted to get beignets, but they were out and none of the other desserts appealed to me so we didn't do dessert. We ordered a French 75 cocktail and the Pinot Noir wine and both were very nice )although pro tip French 75 are supposed to have a lemon peel in them and ours didn't).
