Before we even got there as we were rolling down the interstate, R ordered his drink via a mobile order to pick up inside the store, and, at that time, I didn't want anything. However, when we got there, I changed my mind, and decided to stand in line. This Starbucks was very busy, since it was the day before Thanksgiving, and there were a lot of cars in the drive thru line. There was a short line ahead of us when we walked into the store, but the one employee at the register was very quick and efficient, and got the line moving very quickly. After I ordered, R picked up his drink that was ready at the pick up counter. He tasted it and it tasted exactly as how he ordered it. I only had to wait 5 minutes for my drink to be made before it, too, showed up at the pick up counter. Mine was made perfectly too. This Starbucks location allowed people to sit inside. However, with the number of people either waiting for their drinks or already enjoying their drinks, there wasn't enough seating for everyone, and we weren't going to stay inside anyway. For the amount of traffic this place probably gets, it was relatively clean. The men's restroom was clean too. I thought it was odd that there wasn't any food in the display near the register. Maybe because of Covid, or they already ran out of things, or they were planning on closing early because of the holiday the next day? The parking lot had more than enough spaces. Good thing we got here when we did. As we left to get back into the car, the drive thru line was now longer, and a few carloads of travelers were walking into the store.

I'd postponed it on my last visit to Tullahoma so I'd have something to look forward to on my NEXT inevitable visit, so safe to say anticipation had really built! I arrived around 2:45 and came into a moderately busy coffee house. The acoustics are such it's a little hard to hear if groups are visiting inside, so maybe not the best place to work or read quietly. That's fine, I was going to get my stuff to go anyway. The interior is very cute and thoughtfully decorated and even has a selection of Celtic themed gifts. Service was...surly. The barista spoke very softly and slowly in a very apathetic tone and did not seem interested in answering questions or sharing about the products. I got an iced bonfire mocha (I was very quickly and somewhat harshly corrected about the sizes available to order it in). The pastries looked absolutely amazing so I got a coconut cream scone and a hazelnut pastry to go. They did offer to warm the scone for me, which I accepted. My items took an average amount of time to come out to me. I headed out immediately since I wanted to get home and didn't feel that welcome anyway. So.... That bonfire mocha, yall. It's a spicy mocha, with a dusting of cayenne on top. Allegedly. I've had mochas like this before. They're often made spicy with cinnamon and/or cayenne. I've enjoyed the ones I've tried very much (the version of it at Gold Sprint in Huntsville is delicious!) so I was excited for this one. It had me completely convinced I'd somehow made the barista furious without knowing how. I am fairly heat-tolerant and like spicy stuff and it had me absolutely on FIRE. I thought maybe I'd accidentally gotten a sip of cayenne straight from the top, so I tried mixing it up and drinking from another spot with my straw. Nope. I tried multiple times, coughing up a storm the whole time. But the whole thing was crazy spicy. Inedibly (un-drinkably?) spicy. The cayenne went straight to the back of my throat and sat there scalding me for a long time. I was so sad. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is the coconut cream scone. It was supposed to be heated up...I can't say it was much more than a little above room temperature. But I munched on it in my car and thought it was pretty good. A little dry, as many scones tend to be, but the coconut glaze and cream was flavorful and silky. I enjoyed it. I planned on sharing the hazelnut pastry with my husband later. However, I examined it when I got home (mind you, I hadn't opened it since after leaving the restaurant) only to find...a short, slightly curly black hair attached (baked in?) to it. Facepalm. Straight to the trash it went, regrettably. No idea if it was good or not. It looked good, except for the hair. An incredibly disappointing visit. I'm really sad to write this review. Hopefully I just came on a really off day.

We also got 2 rosemary soda bread and topped off with a complimentary Leprechaun coffee and Irish tea . The only problem we had with order was, the pick up seemed confused. The order came to $50.00, we ordered additional Irish pastries with cream filling for dessert. No pastries. And the online menu said the order was corned beef, cabbage, roasted potatoes/carrots, soda bread AND bangers & mash. When order was opened there were no pastry with cream, no bangers/mash. When my wife called we were told dinners were a choice of corned beef OR bangers. I would've liked to put a pic of posted menu here but it's been removed from their page. Maybe change type for next year, as well as the prices for the meal please? It's unfortunate that we live 25 miles away so wasn't going all the way back to fix. All in all food was very tasty and glad we got to have corned beef & cabbage on St. Patty's Day

There were also green color (tiny bit of pesto) and a tiny bit of red (dry roasted pepper). It was like a sandwich you get from a vending machine, then have to microwave before eating. I couldn't eat it, and I'm not a picky eater. I refused to save it for my dogs. I was afraid it was bad. I had the outer edges of the ciabatta simply because I was hungry! Worst excuse for a sandwich I have ever had in my life, hands down, and I'm 75 years old. If you cannot do better than microwave sandwiches, please just stick to coffee. I know some people like it. I do not. Not only do I hate to waste food, I REALLY hate to waste money. You won't be getting any more of mine. All that mess was between $15-$20!
