Terrible experience here. Waited in the drive-thru for 25 minutes and it was only 2 cars in front of me..then the donuts I got were yuck!! I wouldn't feed to the pigeons in Miller Park they were so stale. Then went out to the new location that just opened in Madison Heights and yep, the donuts were even worse! They were stale too!! Definitely a black eye for a once great place to enjoy fresh donuts.. Where do they find the managers for these franchises?? Must be living in their van in the parking lot.. The first time I stopped here I got a muffin which was burnt but it was a free muffin so I didn't complain. Stopped today and got a coffee and the special $2 refresher. It was almost all ice. The coffee was good but warm not hot. Hopefully the third stop will be the charm. read more

This place is very hit and miss. For the most part, the service is always friendly...usually. Here and there, they have some very rude people working the window. They usually always get my drinks correct. My only issue is that they don't have consistency. This location is also in such a tiny and cramped place. What a mess - we entered the business at 1040am, there were 3 people in front of us - okay so far. There were 4 gals in the front working and 2 males in the back. There were 5 people waiting for their orders; one for a muffin just to be heated, she had her drink already. The next customer had to come back with her order as it was more than 1/2 incorrect...The crew member on the drive through was unpleasant and complaining about almost every order she got - not very customer friendly or even polite. Chloe seemed to be the only one in the front who had a clue how things should be done correctly - she gets an A+++. The lady with white hair a 1/10 - she could not answer anyone's questions about their orders. All customers were frustrated! We went up to the counter several times to check on our order, We waited 59 minutes for our 2 croissants, sausage, egg and cheese meals after several inquires? We talked about just leaving as this time frame is so unacceptable for an easy sandwich. Chloe finally made these2 meals by herself as she could see how frustrated we were getting - so appreciation to Chloe only!!!!! I wish I had gotten the lady's' name working the drive thru as she would not be working there if I was her boss. I tried to find out who the manager for this store is but have not been able to find it yet. This store needs to get its' act together fast as it is the only one in Bedford or Goode - and it might be a better experience to drive to Lynchburg instead???. I love Dunkin! I love their coffee and of course the donuts. When i was stationed in Andrews AFB Dunkin Was my breakfast everyday. That is no exaggeration. I get a large coffee and a coffee roll. That was three years of pure delight. And that was 17 years ago. Since then, it has changed somewhat. I dont order the coffee roll anymore. However, it is still a treat for us especially when we visit Virginia Beach. We were happy when we found out Dunkin opened here in Lynchburg. Well, i have visited this place twice and at vote times i was disappointed. 1. Glazed donuts was a 4 on 10pt scale. 2. Croissant was terrible. It was still doughy. See pic. I wish Lorraine was close to our house. 3. At least the coffee redeemed and earned them two stars. 4. Cashier spoke too fast. It seems the crew was scrambling with the rush of customers (about 6). And we got our sandwich after we have drank half our coffee. I dont recommend the place. Donuts is a pleasure and you should indulge in a good donut - think Wandering Donut or Uncle Joe's. One star because there is no option for zero. This will be short because I don't want to repeat everything else that's already been posted by previous reviewers. I've been to DD's all around the world over the past 40+ years. I was a police officer, so yes, I like my doughnuts and coffee. This franchise is the bottom of the barrel. Latte's are horribly made. Coffee always tastes dirty (due to the lack of properly cleaning the equipment). I got doughnut there once and it was hard and stale. The worst part of this place is the staff. They are completely out of F's to give. If you get through the drive through in less than ten minutes, you're lucky. Today, which will be the last time, an order for two coffees was placed at 9:18. By the time we got them and drive away, it was 9:29...for TWO coffees, one black, the other black w/sugar. When we pulled up to the window, the rude employee took our payment and walked away. I assumed to go pour the coffees...nope, they were literally next to the register until another employee walked over to hand them to us. So much for short...this DD's sucks. My husband got home and the boston cream were bavarian cream BIG DIFFERENCE I called and the district manager was there and said "I'm sorry the employee must have picked the wrong ones by mistake." I asked to bring them back which she refused and then I asked if she would at least give us a big discount for the next time we ordered. She had the gall to say "yes it was the employees mistake but that's not my problem. And we don't give discounts." How rude and very unproffesional!! I WILL NEVER GO TO DD AGAIN. I personally love Dunkin. Their drinks are delicious and their donuts usually awesome. But 3309 Old Forest Rd is a disappointment. We ordered ahead on the mobile app for drive-thru thinking it'd be quick as we needed to get on the road quickly. There were six cars ahead of us and it took us 30 minutes to finally get to the window and pick up our food. The food was okay and the drinks alright but the wait time was NOT worth it. Dunkin donuts in general has gone downhill. No more fresh made donuts. I remember going to this one in particular and they put cake frosting on the donuts and everything was stuck together in the bag. Overpriced. Most of the time if I order a croissant it is hard and burnt from reheating even first thing in the morning. Every time I come here...almost every single time... I get denied a promotion they are clearly having due to the lack of informed associates (who have flat out told me I was wrong despite store signage) and the store's inability to review DD card/Reward info. Also, its not the most welcoming atmosphere OR they goof around a lot with one another while a customer is present and waiting. There is one manager (I believe she is, anyways) there who is so sweet and welcoming - I adore her the few times I have been - but overall I usually get a vibe that no one really cares to do what they do (which, if that's the case, its fine - but fake it). This, for me personally, might be the worst DD store experience I have had - and consistently have. I have only gone a few times since its been open because of every time something turns me off. And, while this apparently has nothing to do with the stores, the fact that this store cannot look up a customer's Rewards/DD card to apply a purchase is beyond me. That's a corporate issue. However, I have gone twice to get a specific promotion and was denied because either A) it wasn't valid (not true at the time AND there was in-store signage) or B) they couldn't look up DD card details. So, because of that, I have had to reach out to Dunkin Customer Service twice only to get no answer or no resolution. Believe me, I know that sounds ridiculous someone would go that far, but when you spend more money than you planned due to either ill-informed staff or a corporate office who isn't giving their stores what they need, it's an issue that should be called out. read more

I ordered an iced green tea and after I paid they told me that they could only make hot tea. I waited for 10 minutes for a bagel and cream cheese and then they asked me what I was waiting for. I'm giving two stars because my coffee is always right and tastes like it should. However, the drive thru is in the middle of the parking lot and blocks people from leaving their parking spot. I have waited at least 10-15mins each time I've used the drive thru. Anytime I get donuts they are stale and seem as though they are a day old or sat out too long. I just had the worst experience at Dunkin' Donuts on old forest road in Lynchburg. I went through the drive through and had one person in front of me and no one behind me. I first asked for a moment to look over their options and asked if they made their frozen pumpkin coffee in an iced version and they said yes...then I got up to the counter and the lady said with the worst attitude, "here's your coffee" and I responded with, "oh, I'm sorry do you make this in the iced version?" And she said, "YOU DIDNT ASK ME FOR AN ICED ONE YOU ASKED FOR THE FROZEN" and closed the window and took the coffee...woah, excuse me? Then one of her coworkers comes to the window because I'm still waiting for my coffee and she said, "ma'am, I heard you on the headset and you said you wanted a frozen coffee" to which I simply reaponded, "I'm really sorry if that's how it came across, but I asked if you do the frozen pumpkin coffee in an iced version" and the coworker rolled her eyes and said "do you want cream and sugar in it?" The first employee came back with the iced coffee, handed to me, I apologized again, and she said nothing as she closed the window. Is this really such a big deal? My first problem with this is I was given a horrible attitude and was yelled at as a customer...especially when there was no one else in line. I'm sorry for the inconvenience my purchase was causing you? My second problem with this is that I don't even trust the iced coffee I was given because she was so frustrated with me. How are I supposed to believe this employee didn't do something to my drink? That's the idea I got from this woman. My last problem with this is that you are paid to represent a company, stop bringing your selfish attitude to work. I understand we are human, but if I showed how I felt at my job, I would not have it for very long. Side note- if you want a refreshing experience I suggest going the extra mile down the road to Joe Beans because they are local and have cars in line for a reason. Unfortunately one of the slowest dunkins I have ever been to. Consistently the drive thru blocks the parking lot and the line inside usually takes about 10 min to get to the register. It is new so maybe the kinks will work out but certainly not the quick stop people expect. read more
