Today I ordered 4 things. I ordered an "Extra extra" for my boyfriend. It's supposed to have extra cream or milk, and extra sugar. When I ordered it I said "Medium size, please," but I guess the guy doesn't know what that means. I got a large-sized coffee. 2nd thing I ordered was 2 chocolate frosted donuts- they were fine. 3rd thing I tried to order was a 10 count box of Munchkins, and I asked for 10 Vanilla ones. I only got 2 vanilla ones, the rest were chocolate, powdered sugar, and blueberry. Previously there was someone who would let you know that they did NOT have 10 vanilla donuts over the speaker. They made the same error in Marion, IL. I got a variety of donuts again and my boyfriend doesn't eat those kind. Then I tried to order a Bacon Egg and Cheese on an English Muffin. I said "English Muffin" like 3 times, and he gave me a bagel instead. What the heck. It was like a $20 order and this made me feel like crap. New management took over and doesnt speak an ounce of english. I come here everyday and have for about 2 years. The old crew was familiar with me and most of the time had my drink rang in and made when they saw my car. The new owners came in and fired the amazing general manager that they had for 2 years and being racist to the old crew members. That lady kept the store running and they robbed her of her job. Terrible experience. We ordered online from their app. After waiting a ridiculously long time we were greeted by a very unfriendly worker. Immediately we were told most of our order was not available (granted this is a Monday morning). We were offered no suggestions for substitutions nor a price adjustment on our order because they didn't know how to?? Long story short we like Dunkin as a company however there's clearly not any management taking an active role in the daily operations nor customer service. We won't be back to Carbondale Dunkin. I know my sister was ecstatic that there was FINALLY a Dunkin' Donuts opening in Carbondale, but with the quality it provides, it's probably better that she just stops at Starbucks everyday. Service: unnecessarily rude. She literally yelled at us in the drive thru. For what reason? I have absolutely no idea. But she was clearly upset about something and took it out on us. Food & Drinks: horrible. The iced coffee we got was overly brewed, and thus had an awful after taste. Even 6 Splenda couldn't help hide the taste. The worst part was the "chocolate long John" we got. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words so PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURE. There is absolutely no reason to be selling anything that looks like that. I've gone to dunkin at this location for years. it's always been a little inconsistent. but my visit today brought me here to yelp...we went inside and the manager took our order, and she was insanely rude. the staff of at least 5 were just hanging out and socializing. discussing after work plans and at work issues. it took 25 minutes for two coffees and a lemonade. I've never seen anything like this, I've always had good experiences in the drive thru for the most part.. but todays visit was actual trash.. from the out loud attitude from the manager, and the lack of drive from the employees to do their job was WILD. do better read more

Customer service is excellent! I always feel appreciated by the crew members, they are always so friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make every cup of coffee great, and make every time I stop in a great one. I'm now a regular, they know what I want without having to ask. This is the BEST Dunkin between Carbondale and Birmingham, Alabama. I stopped at a few different locations while on vacation last week and not one of them provided the service Carbondale does. Awful. Their breakfast sandwiches are rubbery like they were heated up in a microwave and not fresh. The toasted bagel I got the next visit was chewy. Takes forever to get waited on, which seems weird because they have plenty of staff working. All running around like chickens with there heads cut off. What a shame. I waited years for Carbondale to get one of these. Bad location, not big enough which it turns out for the above reasons doesn't matter. Can't even make a decent cup of coffee which they are known for. They should take a lesson from the Rhode Island locations which literally has one on every corner and they are consistently packed! I went here to get donuts for a morning meeting and even though there are huge signs all over that say "open during construction - use Subway sidewalk" (which I did), only to find a note on the door saying they were closed during construction. Love dunkin! Usually get a Carmel coffee (usually iced). I often feel that's it can be watered down, but for the most part i can't complain

The first few visits were ok. Slow service as you would expect for a new business but the delicious coffee made up for it. I visited last week and waited in line for too long. I got with a new counter person who couldn't keep on task because he was more interested in what his co-workers were saying than me, the customer. I was paying with the DD app on my phone confused him and he ended up charging me twice for the same order. This I didn't notice until two days later when I checked the balance on my DD phone app. Sooooo, I went in today to get that taken care of which sent the whole staff into a panic. No problem, got my refund for the over-charge, I ordered coffee and a donut. The coffee was cold and all the tables were dirty. I had to ask for a towel to clean a table and the chairs, none of the staff offered to do it. C'mon! Where did good customer service go! Very disappointing. read more
