The best thing about this place is the staff. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. They welcome regulars and newcomers alike. The coffee is ok. I'm not really a fan of their hot coffee but the iced coffee is good. The donuts are always available and in stock. The place can get really crowded so don't plan on sitting. So the rating isn't a reflection of the superb Custer service but a direct opinion of the coffee received. I ordered a small coffee coolata. The cashier stated, the coffee machine isn't working. It's a DD like all the others. A good place to catch a quick treat before taking the train or a nearby bus, and when it's cold or rainy, people often wait for the bus in here as well. Donuts and bagels are always good but this location seems to run out of things very quickly. Only other downside which I'm sure happens it many other places is that the homeless and beggars come around pretty often and are always using the bathrooms or sleeping on one of the very few tables, and the staff doesn't seem to bother with them. read more

i want to start of with the fact that when i walked in the employee was coughing and sneezing in the back obviously ill and yet comes to serve me with no mask nothing then admitting that he was sick and was about to hand me my change and food once again with no mask when there wad 2 other employees and not even a day later did i start feeling sick and having symptoms. its just astonishing that they would allow someone clearly infected to work and without a mask its just absurd and im not one to write yelp reviews but my parents are old and easily can get sick and so for this idiotic employee to expose his sickness to me is unacceptable read more

while in pelham bay the bronx i am stopping by this dd on crosby ave before i meet my childhood friend at pelham bay park for a run (i ain't running ). it's near the number 6 train and a bus hub so i understand the crowd inside hogging all the seats and tables . the full array of donuts and bagels along with breakfast stuff and full hot and cold beverages . what i like about this particular location is the nice variety of donuts which other locations especially manhattan lack especially blueberry crumb donuts which is my fave. i did not want to disrespect my buddy who is a exercise nut and eats healthy so i wolf down my 2 donuts before heading to the park. i did take a large frozen hot chocolate for the go and it was cold and sweet just the way i like it made. the folks who work here are friendly and keep the place clean but they need better control of the bums who sit at the tables and don't order a thing while stinking up the place but besides that i rate this dd with 4 stars on my yelp meter. read more
