Very good donuts!…read more When we walked in it was crowded and had a few people in line. They had a good selection of donuts, both in types and amounts of each. After we walked in, a fire truck pulled up, and the lady stopped helping the line to help the firefighters - although I had kids in the car and was in a hurry - it felt very small town, and that somehow added to the appeal. We got a dozen donuts including blueberry cake, devils food, honey dew, buttermilk, Boston cream, banana cream, cinnamon powdered sugar, strawberry cream, and some other one I can't remember the name of. They were all very tasty! The creams were generous, flavorful and a great texture and the powdered toppings were strong and packed on! My typical go-to are blueberry cake and devils food/chocolate cake, and they were just okay, but the rest were absolutely worth trying! Interestingly, they do a baker's dozen (13 not 12) but the 13th donut is chosen from a separate case with options that are different than the regular donut options and at other places would cost more like cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, specialty long johns, etc. we found that fascinating, as I tried to get one as part of my dozen and they said those are the free ones instead. I don't usually eat sugar, so trying donuts on this vacation was a big stretch for me, but these were absolutely worth it! If you're ever in the area and want a treat that's both authentic and tasty, Jolly Pirates is the place to try!

The prices are better than the convenience stores. And, like I may have mentioned, the Donuts are great here. Also, the staff is nice and fun. Sometimes I drive 300 miles for the Donuts- shhh. Don't tell anyone.

My husband and I have been two weeks clean of opiates now on Buprenorphine prescribed by a…read moretelemedicine doctor that has a license in the state of West Virginia. The head pharmacist at this location just decided out of the blue late Thursday evening after we got off work that he doesn't want to fill our prescriptions because it's a telemedicine doctor. He said he can but just doesn't want to. We have one pill left, each on a Thursday night. No time to get into Dr to have medicine called in elsewhere. I asked if he could please fill being so late in the week. Please fill to give me time to resolve this matter. With no remorse he just said no. I said, "we will end up sick and in a bad place if he doesn't fill these. "This is how people relapse and end up dying!" I plead to him. I say, "please don't do this." Again with no remorse he says, "No I'm not going to do it and walks away." I'm not sure what we're going to do I am afraid for our lives. He's one of West Virginia's opioid problems. I find out later that they won't fill because our Dr doesn't have a WV address but our Dr in fact does have a WV physicians office. Our Drs computers crashed giving out only his Virginia address. We've gotten the last two prescriptions at this CVS. Had pharmacists looked back on our account he would have seen that, but he did not. Had he looked back on account he would have seen our Dr does have a WV practice. He simply seen that Virginia address and just said no. It's now Friday we're both at our jobs with no evening meds to go home to. And unable to get in to see Dr I don't know what's going to happen to us. I'm terrified for our lives!

Since I hadn't had Pizza Hut in several years and I got a coupon mailer, I figured I would give a local store a try. Come to find out, despite the mailer being specifically for my address, it turned out it was not honored at any nearby locations. This is extremely strange, since someone approved that mailer without regard for the fact that no one could actually use the coupons on it at all. Issues with the website compounded the challenge of ordering, which is surprising given how well their competitors have modernized their online ordering systems. Anyway, despite this problem, I gave them a try, and figured the best deal was for their $5 menu list. The three $5 items I opted for were a medium pepperoni pizza, an order of chicken bites, and a double-order of breadsticks. The pizza turned out quite well and I enjoyed it, and the breadsticks along with the dipping sauce were enjoyable. The chicken, however, was a waste of money: you get tiny, tiny bits that I would feel bad giving to a dog for fear Fido would think me a cheapskate. Service at the location was good, which was conveniently located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Overall, I would say that Pizza Hut is a decent go-to option for pizza and breadsticks, though the sides are not worth paying for. Also, be wary of local coupons, as franchisees have the final say in whether or not they honor them. Overall: 3.0 stars ----- Pros: - Good pizza and breadsticks. - Service was quite good. - Clean location with easy access from Route 60 and lots of parking. Cons: - Value is lacking, particularly in the chicken compartment. - If you send me a local coupon mailer, I expect it to be honored locally. Someone made a mistake here, and I can't be the only person who was annoyed by this.
