During my visit, I felt very impressed by how organized the store's racks were, especially compared to competing retailers. I shopped mostly in the women's section, and the articles of clothing were well organized by type, size, and color. Throughout the store, I saw many major brands, including Adidas, HOKA, Under Armour, and others. The prices were low to moderate, and I found some things that I liked. For example, I saw price tags of $25 for a women's sundress and $85-140 for a pair of women's HOKA sneakers. I deducted one star from my review because I cannot find everything that I want here, and because employees need to greet more often.

A great inexpensive community pool, with a shallow pool for kids…read more We wanted a couple of hours of cooling down after a day of hiking (Jun 2026). We tried out the pool at the George C. Edwards Community Aquatic and Recreation Complex at Garrett College. It's a full set of athletic facilities. We focussed on the kid's pool. It's at the end of the large lap pool. We spent most of our time in the 2ft-8in-deep shallower somewhat-separate section of the kids' pool, which the younger children (and their parents) were more comfortable in. The 3-year-olds entered via a long ramp, and made forays from the separate stairs to practice short swims to their parents. By the end of an hour, they were bravely taking swims in the middle of that shallow area. The 7-year-old swam happily end-to-end there, and then accompanied an adult into the larger deeper main 4ft-3in-deep section of the kids' pool. And at the end, we turned on the jacuzzi-like bubbling in the shallow section, much to everyone's delight! A grand finale! Most of us stayed with the kids, though one or two,swam some laps in the adjacent adult pool. The cost was quite reasonable! $15 for one adult, or $30 for four. Seniors and teens $10, younger $5, below 6-yrs-old for $2. On weekends, there's hours when it's only $6 per person! You pay at a small desk just inside the entrance, just past the Amazon delivery lockers and the shelf of shared books to read. We all burned off excess energy before dinner. And we saw a beaver in the grassy area on the right as we turned north on Garrett Highway afterwards! A perfect afternoon!

They're a hardy lot, so killing them takes effort, like extreme neglect. Second, I barely opened the door, when a snarling, growling, barking dog lunged at me, trying to bite me. I love animals, especially dogs. Used to have dogs. Used to train dogs, professionally. However, this was rather off-putting. I shut the door, and started to leave, when the owner poked his head out. He grinned sheepishly, asuuring me that his dog is "mostly friendly", then demanded to know what I was looking for (the last 10 years of my life the dog shaved off, for starters ). I told him a bosu ball, but I didn't have any more time to look. Again, I 'll take a pass.

Not sure what that other review was talking about dead cactus, the plants always looked healthy every time I was there. The important thing is that you can get great supplements (that actually work), great gear (that gives you years of flawless use) and great advice (from an undemanding and never sheepish owner) at Ned's Fitness Supplies.
