My family and I had a fantastic experience with Smoky Mountain Jeep Rental. We got to the shop…read morearound 10am to pick up our rental. The staff were very kind and went through things quickly so we could get on the road! There was an extra charge to take the doors off. They recommended we have that experience and I am glad that we did! We drove on bypass roads to Cades Cove driving trail. We had a picnic lunch at the tables before entering the actual trail. It's clean and there are streams nearby to play in. We hiked about halfway through. The rangers close the "dirt" paths in the early evening. I wish we had known because we wouldn't have spent as much time hiking. The vehicle was clean, easy to operate, and had no maintenance issues while we had it. I would definitely recommend this location for rentals in the Smokies! It is a great way to have fun with the kids. Drop off was easy too, we walked in and handed them the keys and we were all done.

First let me say I totally admire and respect them for there business savvy. Now this is NOT a place you wanna rent a car from if your primary concern is overall looks of what you drive. The car which they gave us reminded me of an accident recovery vehicle or on that had been junked and rebuilt (Traction control not working) But it looked like a nice used car and it ran and ran very well! I rather drive something that i know will get me to my destination then something that looks totally new but is going to leave me on the side of the road half way there...you feel me? The cost to rent the vehicle was around $60 for a 24 hr period and it was well worth the price and far cheaper then let's say Enterprise or Budget. They even gave us a convertible and the top did work! however I primary focus was trying to continue or vacation. Check-in was normal paper work, photo copy of license etc. Check-out...WAS A BREEZE! unlike your bigger rental car places it was like giving the keys back to a buddy after borrowing there ride less than 3 minutes whoo-hoo beat that! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to rent a safe, reliable, cheap car especially if you wanna save cash... These Guys are great!
