Based on Wilderspool Causeway with its own parking, its worth stopping off if you're looking for something that's going to last. They tend to stock different wood furniture from oak to pine, and some others, as well as different styles and pieces from bedroom to living room, to dining room. We've had lots from there and the quality is excellent, worth the price as pieces last for years. They also do some giftware and artwork so you can always pick up something nice and unusual to decorate the house with. The staff are nice and friendly and know the products so can help with any questions or enquiries you might have.

Wait on the phone several times to have promise after promise made but to no avail. Really what can you do? The online chat is not working due to the pandemic, 60minutes waiting time for any kind of response n the phone if you actually manage to get through, so here's a thought... do not take orders if you cannot fulfil them. My son is in a half completed bedroom because of poor service, no delivery, empty promises. If it ever does arrive lets hope the unit is not like the service. They are home to 35 cutting-edge designers and there is enough inspiration to keep even my motor mouth quiet for an hour or so. If you want to jazz up your lounge, no problem. Slick and chic sofas sit along side funky tables. You'll even find plush flooring, cookware and gifts. It's quite pricey but sometimes money does buy taste and it shows here. Add to that four cafes to refresh those flagging shopping legs and it's worth a punt. A definite reason to venture into Batley and spruce up the house in your life.

It was refreshing that we weren't bombarded by target-driven, commission-led sales people but Comfort Specialists whose first interest was to make sure we chose the best chair for us, not the most profitable for them. We were about to leave, and I asked if they knew of anywhere they'd recommend for a bed. They sell beds too! They're adjustable and come in 3 different degrees of softness, and like the chairs are all made in the UK. We are so glad we found the store!

The store is large and has a good selection of bits and bobs, from pillows to appliances, from ice cube trays and cheese-graters. Considering, they're supposed to be a "discount" chain, I did find some prices to be a little high, if you're lucky you'll find a high-quality item with a good discount/offer though, so it's kind of like a TKMaxx jumble sale but replacing the clothes with home items. The staff seemed friendly and happy to help me find what I was looking for, and the experience at the checkout was smooth. This is a fairly good store, obviously, some deals are better than others, but probably the best selection of home furnishing in the Manchester Arndale, with a fairly presentable store and helpful staff. 4*

The staff are always helpful and the store is clean and well presented. They also have a pretty good reduced to clear range. I also find this shop to be ideal for gift shopping as they stock such a wide range of products, the packaging tends to be beautiful and I can pick up items here that I wouldn't normally see in other shops.
