The Bowling Ball House in Safety Harbor is one of the wildest, most chaotic, and unforgettable…read morethings you'll ever come across hands down a five-star experience just for the sheer creativity and madness of it. This place is packed with personality from every angle. Bowling balls are everywhere stacked, lined, and worked into the yard in ways that make you stop and stare. It feels like someone took a simple idea and just ran completely wild with it in the best way possible. Then you start noticing all the unexpected details: random statues scattered throughout the property, SpongeBob characters popping up in places you wouldn't expect, and CDs hanging from strings that catch the light and move with the breeze. It's like stepping into a fully DIY art installation where anything goes and more is more. What makes it so great is that nothing about it feels normal or restrained. It's loud, weird, colorful, and totally unique. Every time you look around, you notice something you didn't see before, which makes it feel like the house keeps changing as you explore it. Overall, the Bowling Ball House is pure creative chaos in the best way possible. It's fun, bizarre, and completely unforgettable a true local landmark that proves art doesn't have to make sense to be amazing.

This is a unique and creative experience in nature that's small yet mighty. Getting here is going…read moreto be a workout! Here's what you need to know: 1. Wear your most comfortable flip flops and bring a pair of walking sneakers and socks (in case the flops wear you down) 2. Bring a fannypack/tote filled with string and a sharpie. Also pack water and a snack. 3. Go to the bathroom before you hike it'll be a walk! 4. If you park stay on Mandalay Ave and park alongside the street before the roundabout that leads into the residential area. When you get a meter stsnd or by app reserve 2 hours 15 min. Trust me - it's way better to overestimate your walking time. We reserved an hour and a half and underestimated by 15 min. We were power walking at near nighttime on the beach. The parking fee was super cheap! 5. Go down the street and walk to the beach facing the water and head immediately right following the shore. You'll follow the shore for 2.5 miles. Yes, that far!! Once you've gone to the way way way far side you'll hit an L shape of trees that form a Grove collection of shell decorated art trees! 6. Grab a shell with a hole, decorate the shell with a message from your sharpie. Hang it on a string or let the branch hang it for you! Enjoy the views! It's quite secluded but a nice getaway. Go an hour and a half before sunset. It's a 5 mile trek round-trip. When we went it was right at near sunset and getting dark. We cut through the Regatta beach club and walked the sidewalk down to our parking spot. The artsy shells on the tree are a treat to see and some are blank. No matter what just admire the one of a kind trees created by others in nature.

Wow, this was a fantastic find!…read more Pickle Pizza Cheesesteak Always bustling with happy customers, Madison Avenue Pizza delivers quality service and fantastic food, whether you sit outside or dine inside. We were so excited to the cheesesteak and it did not disappoint!! Delicious and just like Philly! The pickle pizza was a pleasant surprise on the menu and as always, pickle pizza is the best! The garlic knots look delicious, but they lack flavor, which is a bummer. Good garlic knots have garlic flavor from the first bite to the last, but this was not the case.

A Masterclass in How Not to Welcome and Treat A Guest…read more There are restaurants that disappoint, restaurants that offend, and then there are establishments so aggressively inhospitable that one feels less like a patron and more like an intruder who has mistakenly wandered onto private property. This pizza restaurant achieved the rare distinction of failing before the first slice, before the first menu, before even the faintest possibility of hospitality could be entertained. Having referred dozens of friends, clients and business partners to take the extra commute for the pizza I could not be more disgusted by the treatment I experienced. I arrived ready to enjoy a couple pizzas on a Friday afternoon. Instead, I was greeted by service so catastrophically poor that it rendered the food irrelevant. Whatever may or may not emerge from the oven here is beside the point; no meal can survive an atmosphere that makes leaving feel not only justified, but restorative. The welcome was not merely cold. Coldness has dignity. This was something more dispiriting: a total collapse of basic courtesy. The kind of service that announces, immediately and without ambiguity, that the customer is an inconvenience rather than a guest. In a profession built on warmth, timing, and care, this was hospitality performed as open hostility. I did not stay. I turned around and left, which may be the finest decision this restaurant inspired all evening. A great critic is often asked to separate the kitchen from the dining room, to give the food its day in court even when the service falters. But there must first be a threshold of competence, a flicker of welcome, a minimum acknowledgment that human beings have entered the premises. Here, that threshold was not crossed. It was not even visible in the distance. This place managed to strip away the joy before the first bite. That is not a service flaw. That is an achievement in reverse. I cannot recommend it. Not for dinner, not for takeout, not as a cautionary tale unless one is studying the precise moment a restaurant loses a customer forever.
