I was asked to answer 4 questions, and I've only done one of them. a, b and c were too hard, but I've Done D.
First-Hand Experience: I've only seen Dundee FC play once... and it was hosting their crosstown rivals Dundee United, and what a cauldron it was! An absolutely thrilling fixture! I like United's colours, spirit, fans, stadium and history better than DFC, but I still really respect this club and the passion of their supporters. And I had a great time in their stadium, and nobody tried to kill me despite me wearing an orange shirt... so for that I will give them a solid four stars.
I haven't been back inside the stadium since that awesome match in 2011, but I will be going here again soon. I visited the ground briefly in 2014 and relived the memories, but not on a match day. Next time I go, hopefully it will be for my second match experience here!
Dundee is half of the city of Dundee, the other half being Dundee United. They play in ugly dark blue and were formed in 1893. They are in the Scottish Premier.
They play to 11.5k and are 300 yards away from their great rivals. Under Bob Shankly in 1962 they amazingly won the Scottish Premier title, which is the only time they've ever won it. They got to the Semi Final of the European Cup the following season. They were runners up in the league 4 times, but not since they won it. They won the Scottish Cup in 1910, and were runners up 4 times including 64 and 2003. They won the Scottish League Cup 3 times and were runners up 3 times.
They are known as the Dees. In that regard, they are exactly like my gf who is known for her Ds, though not for long. read more
