Ron always shares the pros/cons for an informed decision and is extremely communicative so we always knew how things were tracking. The vision was delivered, including some added scope, on the agreed timeline and price structure. So unreal! Here are some specifics on our project. We decided to replace all of the flooring, build a new kitchen island, create a focal fireplace facade and paint the entire interior. Ron knew we intended for this to be a short-term rental as well so every step along the way he made recommendations of materials that would accomplish the look we wanted to achieve and also provide the durability necessary for renters. We personally wanted to dedicate several weekends towards doing some of the improvements ourselves and Ron was amazing about embracing that and working through the schedule together. During those weekends I often found new projects that slightly expanded the scope, which Ron always accommodated. Since everything is a handshake with him, there was never a mess of change order agreements; he just adjusted his work plans and reflected the new work in the billing. At any time we're we notified of the change untill I did some research on the installed windows and received a small credit on the difference. Out repair went on for 3 months and the communications with the office manager was really poor. On 3 occasions we phoned her for status reports on parts, appts etc and she was going to call someone and get a call back. Not once did we receive a call back. The only communication we had was on july 3rd to schedule insallation on july 6th. I was ordering custom metal top covers for stucco walls. The metal had to be cut to size and bent to conform to the top of the wall. A knowledgeable sales person answered on the first call. Fabrication people called me with questions to make sure that the order was right. It was ready two days after I placed it. Berry's quote in Abingdon was hundreds of dollars more. It was a very messy project, but they cleaned up after themselves. We still had to do additional detail cleaning after too, but it was to be expected.
