We stayed at the RV park for a very long team I started noticing recently their entire staff has become very rude. Almost every interaction we had it's like they wanted to argue or would become angry for no reason. We were good customers. One night I went to stay in the RV park in our RV and a worker knocked on our door and told me sleeping in bed to get up by myself and said she would call the police and I would go to jail if I didn't leave I was not causing any issues or problems they just kicked us out for no reason literally went to the camper to sleep causing no issues I talked to the police explaining the situation of course I didn't get arrested but Duncan bridge as a company decided to trespass me and my family i couldn't give 0 stars or I would have anyone there will notice how rude they have become and Goodluck to the customers continuing to pay they are running a dictatorship and when they don't like you anymore they trespass you from the property for no reason just beware. Also notice they do not have a profile with the better business burough and I think I see why they would get hammered about complaints with rude employees. read more

I'll make this short. Stay away from this marina for boat rentals. We rented a pontoon boat for a day. About half way through the day the fuel pump stopped working. The boat would start but would sputter out about every minute. We asked for half off the rental cost because the boat only worked half the day. Fair enough, right? They only would agree to give us $100 off but we still had to fill the gas tank which was $30. They had a chance to make it right and they didn't. Really, really bad service. They don't even deserve one star. Go somewhere else and rent your boats for Smith lake. read more

Was storing my Seadoo there and always had to wait forever to get it picked up and put in the water. Was dealing with it until my underseat tray was stolen from inside the dry storage area. No more. Went to Duskin and love it. read more

RUDE STAFF. I called to get information on their boat rentals. I couldn't even finish my sentence and the lady said "we don't have boats" and hung up on me. I called right back and said "that wasn't the only question I had and you hung up." No apology... just said we don't have boats at this time and hung up again. I emailed for management to call me back (I believe the same lady called me and said she was the owner)... she told me that I don't understand how busy they are so that there's no way for me to understand their end of why they may be short. I proceeded to tell her that I have worked in property management and vacation rentals for over a decade and I assure her that I understand busy. She cut me off to tell me "no you don't understand"... as if she knows how my work environment is or what I deal with when I'm at work. I proceeded to tell her no matter how busy we get that customer service is #1 priority. I told her that if she truly is the owner that it explains why her staff is so rude. During all this she cut me off multiple times. She then proceeded to tell me that when they start running boats again she'll be sure to put me on a do not rent list. I am appalled by this business's customer service. Although their ratings seem to be pretty fair on Facebook, these ratings do not line up with what's on Google and yelp. On yelp they have a one star and I think that's more in line with where they rank. read more

This past Saturday six friends and I rented a ski boat from Duncan Bridge Marina on Lewis Smith Lake to participate in a Poker Run. After filling the boat up with $75 worth of fuel we headed out for a day on Smith Lake only to discover the blower on the boat didn't work, then the trim didn't work. After a quick stop at our Poker Run stop a couple of miles away the boat failed to start again. A couple of good hearted marina mechanics came by to help, but decided it was a dead battery and poorly wired battery cables. They advised us to call the marina we rented from to get another boat. Phone calls were made to Duncan Creek Marina. After waiting over an 11/2 hours we finally were put on a pontoon boat and told it had $90 worth of fuel in it. Needless to say the amount of fuel promised was apparently not there. We ran out of gas approximately 5 of miles down the lake. After another nearly 2 hours of waiting for Duncan Bridge Marina to deliver fuel they only delivered enough for us to get to another marina to get fuel for the trip back - another $50+. The odd thing was that according to Duncan Bridge Marina we used $90 worth of fuel going one way and following the same route back had fuel left with a $50 purchase. When we finally got back to Duncan Bridge Marina, Don, the manager we were dealing with was not there and was argumentative when contacted on the phone denying any responsibility. He actually said he sent someone out to help us both times when we were stranded on the lake, like he had another choice if he wanted his boat back. He refused to compensate us in any way for our wasted day due to his poor quality boats and lies about the amount of fuel he put in our replacement boat. I cannot recommend Duncan Creek Marina in any situation due to their inability to use quality equipment and meet the needs of their customers with honest service. read more

The employees at Duncan Bridge Marina are eager to help and extremely friendly. The owners care about the quality of their equipment and the satisfaction of their customers. The facilities are nice and clean and you couldn't ask for a better location on the lake. Would definitely recommend Duncan Bridge Marina to others! read more
