My first Get On Board class of 8 and I am really excited to spend more time at this place. This is…read moresuch a great opportunity they have provided for young professionals in the area. There's parking all around on side streets and they've got a great sign next to West 6th brewery. The facility is filled with fun unique art and signs of upcoming events at the Plantory. Up the stairs is where their main office space is located and that's where our class was held in various parts of the space. All were unique in their layout for whatever you may need the space for. I definitely recommend people check out their website and what they are offer in this community for affordable office space. Bathrooms were kept up very clean and labeled. Their front desk manager was very friendly and helpful for letting me know about whatever questions I had. I'm very excited and will do a follow up review when I complete the course in 8 weeks.

This is a great YMCA facility! The Beaumont Y has an indoor and outdoor pool, group exercise…read moreclasses, basketball courts, running track, weight room and more treadmills and ellipticals than I can count. I really like the indoor pool at the Beaumont Y- there usually is at least one available lane to swim laps in. This Y is definitely family-friendly, and there are a lot of programs for kids offered. As with the other Lexington YMCA branches, the variety of classes offered here is great- and I'm loving the new Y app that makes it easy to check the group exercise schedule for all locations. The downsides are that parking and dealing with Beaumont traffic can be a pain (Harrodsburg Rd during rush hour is a no for me) but the staff here are friendly and helpful!

ZERO STARS DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!…read more Life guard said we cant swim and that we needed life jackets in the shallow end!!! Plus we needed a parent touching us at all time. And my legal guardian was in the water with us and the lifeguard had said that she needed to be physically with us even though she was! She then accused us of lying when we said our legal guardian was in the water with us. She had red short hair, a sleeve of tattoos, had colorful crocs, and was wearing a black one piece bathing suit. So if you see her , make sure to report her immediately!!! By the way this happened on a wednesday. Thanks for your time and I do not recommend this place. Spend your money elsewhere and out of more high quality place. Also, before I get off i'd like to say the bathrooms were disgusting and there was mold. There was mold on the walkways in the gym and it smelled like sweat. I also witnessed a young child slip and fall on the wet inside floors. Not a single worker smiled back at us and they were talking crap about my leagal guardian and us. If I can give this place zero stars, I would , but that's not possible so I have to give it one star. All we wanted was a nice friendly trip experience to the water park , but we now have terrible memories just like the service...

I just turned 25 and I got the 30$/month deal and you can go to any of the YMCA's in Lexington for this. It is a pretty good deal for 30$. It is at one of the main locations downtown and they have good parking spots. Though, it is hard to get a spot at evening times (4- 7 pm). The gym has everything you need. The rowing machine is my favorite and this is one of the few gyms in Lexington that has it. The swimming pool has 4 lanes and it is a good place to relax. They locker rooms are clean and you can borrow a lock from the reception desk. The locker rooms have sauna and steam rooms (my favorites) They have basket ball courts and heavy gym machinery on upper floors. The best part about Y is you have various classes like Yoga, Zumba and Pilates happening throughout the week at different schedules. i tried all the classes atleast once and the dance classes are my favorite. There used to be a hip hop dance class (more fast paced than Zumba) which was fun. They stopped it for some reason. Hope it resumes in the future. You need to bring your own yoga mats for Yoga classes. Zumba classes are fun. I dance like an awkward sheep and yet I go, so there is nothing stopping you and feel free to go and let yourself out.

It could be the diversity of the crowd. It could even be the food and drinks. I would not do this event any justice if I limit it to one thing that makes it great. The NOLI Night Market has a Brooklyn NY vibe without the huge high rise buildings. When I try to explain this event I'm compelled to use terms like: abstract, eclectic, artsy just to attempt to explain the vibe. Reminds me of Asheville NC because of all of the liberal arts school in the area. It may seems like I'm rambling but that's this event in a nut shell. So hard to put the vide into words or even explain it. When I'm ask about I just say you have to try it. That's all I can come up with. I purchase some really cool laser etched wine glasses here as well as some classic vinyl records. My daughter purchase some homemade soap from some very young entrepreneurs and some home made doggie treats. The scope is just that broad. The food trucks ranges from waffles to noodles. Not to mention the local ice cream and beer vendors. If you name it you can find it here. Very nice event that I'm glad to see the growing JC

This was one of the most authentic events, that I have ever been to within Lexington. It is a MUST VISIT for anyone that appreciates local arts/crafts for sale, food trucks, beer, cultural stuff, etc. They have about 50 authentic booths that sells local arts and crafts including jewelry, the prices are very reasonable and supports NoLi businesses (North Limestone). You can grab some awesome grub, drink (Think West 6th) and enjoy the atmosphere. I fortunately was able to take a tour of one of the Shotgun houses on York Avenue featuring art as well as art in work (building an artistic house) on North Limestone. People and vendors are extremely friendly. This is a wonderful place to spend a Friday night date. Night Market happens on the first Friday of each month, I am not sure if there will be a January NM, but I do know there will be one in December. Definitely a hidden gem that everyone should add to their bucket list of things to do in Lexington. Katy Perry would sing at the Night Market, "This Friday night Do it all again Do it all again This Friday night Do it all again Do it all again This Friday night T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F." Elite approved :)
