Back in December I really wanted to order some additional furniture to match our existing farmhouse…read moretable (we ordered a year earlier from D&T Custom Wood Creations). We wanted a buffet and a coffee table to match some of our other furniture. We really needed some pieces that had storage, so I contacted Denny and sent him some pictures of what I was thinking, along with dimensions. He said he was pretty backed up, so we wouldn't get our furniture for at least 12 weeks. At about the 12 week mark I contacted him to see where we were on the list. He said he'd have our items done in a few weeks. I also squeezed in an additional item (I'd say shhhh don't tell my husband, but he found out when he went to pick up the order LOL): a blanket ladder. Denny let us know that we could pick our items up last week. He mentioned that earlier was better than letter on the weekend, but we managed to coordinate a time that worked for both our schedules. When my husband opened the truck, I smelled the scent of wood stain and wood. It smelled glorious. The pieces looked beautiful and were super sturdy. We've ordered from big box stores before, but you can really tell the quality and craftsmanship that goes into D&T's pieces. We ordered a coffee table that had a lifting top. It was SUPER heavy. I can definitely see this piece being passed down to my kid (sorry kid, you're getting it whether you like it or not) when we're long gone. The buffet was beautiful. Tons of storage and super sturdy. The blanket ladder was also super nice (my husband had no clue what a blanket ladder was....it's literally a blanket that holds blankets). Pros: -Reasonably priced -Sturdy pieces -Customize pieces exactly how you like them -Supporting local -Cheaper than buying at a furniture store Cons: -No delivery, if you have larger pieces, you'll need to make sure you rent a truck if you don't own one to move your items home.... -May have to wait longer than you think Tips: If you're looking for a unique item that you can't find anywhere else, check out D&T.

It was a little after lunch time and we were the only customers here. The person that helped us was helpful. They do offer delivery and setup, even possibly same or next day if stock permits, but it's by a third party. Not that it mattered because we decided to go elsewhere, but in case any one is wondering, or needs that service.
