This is a really nice restaurant for a late night bite! We got the udon, the dumplings, and the wonton soup. Service was a little busy when we went around midnight, since it was one of the few places open late and there was a line for take-out. The restaurant itself doesn't really have many tables either since it's a smaller space and it's more of a carry-out spot, but we ate in. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I asked the front lady if the chicken comes with rice and she kissed her teeth at me and rolled her eyes. She waved her hands around like I was asked a dumb question, but the chicken is like 16 bucks, I wanted to know what that comes with lol. Not very friendly and they lady at the register was extremely short with us. While we waited for our order they guy that took out our food was picking his face (maybe his nose) and we were shocked. With all the Covid stuff you'd think people would be more sanitary. I don't mind hole in the wall spot but if you have customers at the very least put on gloves and pretend like you care about one's safety and health. The dumplings (potstickers) were actually good. I got the fried shrimp and crab ones and my friend got the steamed chicken. We were both pleased. Just pray over your food. Didn't have cash so I paid with card then she says I don't meet minimum charge. From the moment I walked in, she just starred at me. Located in a very convenient spot close to the beach, I haven't had Chinese in Puerto Rico in ions and heard good things about this joint, so me and Ellen F. decided to take a stroll to see what the hubbub was about. The prices were reasonable considering the area is in the upscale Ashford Ave Condado neighborhood. With the Covid restrictions we had to order from the trilingual polite girl at the window. The dumplings are handmade! You can see home girl making them right in front of you. The dumplings were some of the best I've had in recent memory however their other food wasn't that appetizing, I had only a few pieces of broccoli and chicken and the rest was all rice...we should have just ordered a bunch of dumplings.. I continually asked for more sauces (thank god cause there was literally one soy sauce packet in the bag) and she handed me three more packets for me and wifey. IMO for the 15 minute wait and for what we paid the only thing that was satisfying was the dumplings. Next time I'll just order the dumplings but if your looking for just good Chinese food then look elsewhere. read more

Good day, To anyone who is even remotely thinking of dining here, please reconsider. we came by to get a quick order of tostones to go. We were met with attitude from the jump. When we got our to go order bag, we were missing items in the bag that we had specifically asked for. when we asked for our item, the lady at the front gave them to us with a big attitude. I tried one of the tostones which we didn't like the taste of (specifically here, they are great everywhere else we've had them) we asked for a refund. We were met with terrible attitude and aggression where the lady at the front was slamming the receipt in the counter saying that it was our problem if we didn't like the taste, not theirs. I've never experienced worse customer service and the food we received is not good. There are plenty of other amazing restaurants to spend your money at. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! read more

Ordered Shrimp Dumplings and Pork Dumplings. Took a little longer than expected for a place called. DUMPLINGS, but they were cooked fresh so I can appreciate that. Took the order and asked if sauce was included, yes. Chopstix...Laughed in my face lol. Got these back to my hotel(across the street) and no chili oil, just a sour soy dipping sauce. Pork Dumplings, so bland it NEEDED chili oil at least, pretty much inedible. Shrimp dumps, decent. We could at least marinate in soy. They were good after a quick soak. Bottom line, be patient, ask for chili oil or some kind of additional sauce outside the ponzu or soy supplied. You will need it. read more

OMG, simply the best! Like forget all the other ish you can order and just get like 4 orders of dumplings (you can share). They are fresh made and you have an option of fillings and how you'd like them prepared, meaning steamed, fried or pan fried. Definitely go with pan fried! They are soft on top and crispy on the bottom. We chose chicken for our order (5 per order). You also get to choose what veg you'd like inside. You get a choice of one protein and 2 veg. We ordered here last month for a to go lunch when we were in PR so I can speak to consistency. The steamed (boiled?!)shrimp dumplings, steamed shrimp and crab (fake crab) dumplings and pan fried vegetable dumplings are all good. This time we ate here. You place your order and pay. Stopped by in recommendation of a friend! Great spot where their specialty is dumplings. We ordered house fried rice and the house dumpling which comes with shrimp, pork and chicken. The dumplings are made fresh in front of you, yes! made to order. Let me tell you, they are delicious and worth the wait! The food did take a bit to come out, but in the midst of taking walk-in orders they also took phone orders! So of course they were super busy, but no worries, we had no where to go. So of course I was excited when I found a place that served that all American dish . . . . dumplings. :-) This small restaurant is always packed, so plan to wait a little bit. (It's definately worth the wait!) The dumplings are made to order and if your sitting on the left side if the restaurant as you enter you can watch them masterfully being made. There's more on the menu but I generally stuck with just dumplings or at least had them on the side. The price was great too, especially considering it is located in a touristy area. On the bus to Marriott hotel, I jokingly asked my colleagues to find me a good dumpling place. As soon as I dropped off my bags, I went walking and found this about 3 blocks away. I ordered the chicken lomen and pork/shrimp dumplings pan fried. Food came quickly but it's very small portion. Having the word dumpling as the name of the restaurant, I was disappointed to learned that's this is definitely not authentic by far. Only 5 dumplings per order. Overall, it was just ok, but for the money, I thought it was overpriced. While eating, there were also many flies as they had the door opened for some time. read more
