They were supposed to arrive at 7am on Friday. At 6:55am, I received a text that the driver got a flat on the way to our site. While disappointed, we knew things happened so we tried at first to find other haulers to remove our items. Ricardo said that he should be back on the road by 11am or so, so we had our staff begin moving the items down to the sidewalk from the 3rd floor. I checked in with a text at about 11:00 or so and was told it would be another 30 mins. 30 mins came and went, so I checked in again. This time I was told that the tire replacement was taking much longer than expected, but it would be another 30 mins. By the time 2:30 arrived, I checked in again as we needed to figure out if our staff should bring the items back in from the street. I was told that "as promised," the job would get done that day and he would arrive by 3:30pm and to leave the items on the sidewalk. Good thing we went ahead and had our staff bring the items back in, because at 3:38pm, Ricardo still hadn't arrived. I called and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message asking if he could confirm if he would still be arriving as I had to leave the office by 4:30pm, but never received a call or text back. The service is extremely lacking and disappointing. I would have preferred he were honest about his availability so that we could have made other arrangements, but to ensure that he would follow through without doing so left us in a rather sticky situation which was time sensitive to begin with.
