Second in my top garages that I trust with the second largest purchases in my life.
I love the honesty they put forth. They're all about getting your vehicle back on the road. There is a very small front office that is purely for taking phone calls and processing payments. There is nowhere to sit or wait, so don't plan to hang around until your car is done unless you want to wait outside.
No nonsense service, he will tell you what you need to do and quote you the price as accurately as humanly possible. He will to save you money where he can, but is not about cutting corners on safety. He doesn't care what you drive and won't turn you away if your bill is low (yes there are garages that will start to pressure sell to bump up the bill or refuse you outright). He will get your baby running again.
Book an appointment, be prepared to get a lift back home because he can't take you on the spot. Don't expect a clean waiting area with tea and crumpets, he has a desk, a phone, a counter and a debit machine. There are a few posters and I think there is a chair to sit on beside a small magazine side table, but really it seems like an afterthought.
I trust the heck out of this shop, they have never let me down. I have been occasionally shocked by how bad my car was doing, but everything checked out and nothing was drummed up. It added up to be a whole lot of parts that needed to be done. He'll show you too, if you need to see for yourself, and everything is itemized on the bill.
Other than a lack of a cushy waiting room, the only negative I can put forward are the opening hours. Weekends are closed, they choose to be home with family. I can't argue with that, even if it means I have to wait until Monday! read more
