A damn fine proper greasy spoon with great value breakfasty goodness including very good vegetable-based sausages (as opposed to Quorn etc) and the nicest omelettes - giant fluffy things! It's very down to earth and unpretentious, which I love, and when I lived on Lordship Lane I was a very regular customer here particularly after a heavy night of drinking.
There are a lot of good breakfast places in the area, but if you'd rather not pay £7.50 for breakfast or £2.90 for a glass of OJ the Dulwich Cafe is by far the best place to come, with prices around the £3.50-£4 mark for a good portion.
I don't know what the meaty dishes are like but for veggies it's the best non-greasy greasy spoon around, though do mind out - the tables and chairs are attached somehow and possibly bolted to the floor, which doesn't help with the whole hungover and trying not to fall over thing. read more
