There are services at 9:30am and 11:30am every Sunday. It's in the ballroom of the Infinite Energy Center. There's plenty of parking. It can seem confusing when you get there, but there are signs everywhere and there are people who can assist you. They even have shuttles for you if you need assistance or you're not in the mood to walk. When it's raining, someone will come to you with an umbrella. It's awesome! When you walk in, you're greeted by a ton of welcoming people. There's free coffee and water bottles. Service usually starts right on time and lasts for about an hour and a half. Also, there are midweek services that happen at Duluth Church of God. It's the their midweek hub. They have young adult services, youth services, occasional worship services, Monday morning prayer, women's services, etc. The pastors are Ashley and Jaine Evans. They are some of the most welcoming and warm people I've met. This church is all about hugs. It's a very atmosphere that welcomes anybody. It doesn't matter what you've been through and who you are, you're so welcome here. My favorite thing about this church is the strong, intentional community aspect. Their desire and mission is to make God known and to help you know that you aren't alone! If you're ever in the area or you're looking for a new church home, come check it out!

The church also provides lunch! The food wasn't that bad.. actually it was unexpectedly good! Last Sunday, they served baked beans (though it was too sweet in my opinion), cole slaw, barbecue chicken, variety of chips, brownies with and without nuts, a slice of chocolate cake, and a slice of what seemed to look like lemon/vanilla cake. I learned that Baptist, Methodist and Lutheran churches all talk about being baptized in water just like it was mentioned in the Bible. Methodists have similar teachings about being baptized and that's what I got from my cousin's Sunday school teacher (I'm sorry.. I don't remember his name). But I do remember that the members of this church were friendly and helpful! I would give this place another try and maybe it'll be MY church.. never know.. lol So if you're interested, give this place a try! Also, if you don't have a ride, you can speak with one of the members at church about transportation to the church. Let's spread Jesus' love to the whole world! That's what being a Christian is all about.. do not judge your fellow neighbor (I think that's one of the ten commandments, right?) Also, to tell everyone that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior!

Gwinnett Church is one of the North Point Ministries campuses, led by Jeff Henderson. The mission…read moreof the church is to "lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ." Adult services are held at 9:15 am, 11:15 am, and 4:30 pm. The church is large, and on most Sundays, the 11:15 service has the largest attendance. It is best to get there early to give yourself time to find a seat and take a look around without feeling rushed. There are parking volunteers who will help you find easy parking. When you enter the building there are a number of guest services volunteers who can help you find the environments that you need to visit. If you are a first time guest, don't forget to stop by The Gallery after the service to learn more about the church. If you would like a smaller crowd, try attending the 4:30 service for a more intimate feel. The music is like attending a free concert every Sunday - nice perk! The messages are often timely, relevant and applicable for most people, whether they consider themselves Christian or not. All are truly welcome - there is no insider/outsider culture here. There are great environments for children and young people: Waumba Land is the environment for pre-K and younger children. In this environment, children are in small classrooms with structured activities during the service. The older pre-K children have their own large group environment in which they sing and dance and hear an engaging Bible story by talented volunteer worship leaders who keep the kids laughing and engaged. For the younger kids, the musicians visit their classrooms for singing and dancing, and the volunteers in the classrooms engage the kids in the Bible story. They kids typically make a craft that they can take home to remember what they learned, and trust me - they will be singing those catchy songs for days! My child currently attends Waumba Land, so that is the environment about which I am most familiar. Upstreet is the environment for elementary age children, and Transit is the environment for middle school students. Inside Out is for students in high school. Upstreet is available at all services. Transit is available in the mornings, and Inside Out meets in the evenings. All of the environments provide for large group and small group learning. Adults are encouraged to join community groups, which enables them to also experience a small group environment. The church believes that life is better in circles, rather than rows, and encourages people to connect to a small group in their area of Gwinnett. There are groups for singles and married couples, and they typically meet weekly throughout the county. You can connect to a community group online or through an event called Grouplink. My husband and I have been members of several groups throughout the years, and we highly recommend the experience. It is a great way to grow in your relationship with other people, with your community, and with God. Gwinnett Church has a hastag of its own: #ForGwinnett. That's because Gwinnett Church wants to be known for what it is for, and it is - you guessed it - For Gwinnett! There are many service opportunities available to support the good work being done throughout the county and beyond to help and serve those around us. While the church is best known for participating in the Be Rich service campaign around the holidays each year, service opportunities are available and encouraged throughout the year.

Andy Stanley, the founder, had decided to create a church for people who don't like to go to church. His vision has become reality and he has opened multiple churches across Atlanta. It's incredible to see the amount of support and people that flood in the doors to hear the sermons every week and all the volunteers who gave up their time to make everything run as smoothly as possible from parking in the lot to leaving. They have a fantastic children's area and you are grouped according to what grade level you are. It's so terrific and my daughter actually enjoys going. They always do little activities that help teach them about how to be a Christian. My friend introduced me to this church a couple weeks ago and I was so happy to not have to park a mile away and I was able to find a seat relatively easy. The sermons literally move me. They are so fantastic and come from the heart. Listening to people's experiences helps me remember to be thankful for what I have and want to help others. If you miss a sermon, they can be found online because they record them. It's so wonderful to have that option because sometimes you might not be able to make it for whatever reason. They are opening up another sermon time for the month of August because they are growing. The additional service will be held at 12:45 PM. If you are a new member, you can stop by the new member area and get a really nice mug and get introduced to some of the staff there. They also have some complimentary bites for breakfast. Today they were passing out free donuts! I have to admit I really miss listening to Andy Stanley but the sermons I have heard here are also very good. And I can always catch Andy online!

There is something very special about NPCC…read more You can feel the presence of the Divine there. I am new to Atlanta, so visit as many as 3 church services every Sunday searching for Divine inspiration & wonderful fellow Christians (THE ONE AND ONLY RELIGION STARTED BY A PROVEN GOD!). Keep feeling myself drawn back to 3 churches, including NPCC. NPCC is unique for having a very dynamic, sincere and magnetic pastor, brilliant sermons, excellent music, a big Auditorium that is very full with lots of beautiful happy adults of all ages in the audience, even more beautiful and happy children in fun rooms with wonderful leaders built around the massive Auditorium. And a sense of the Divine in almost every child & adult I observed & had contact with. Excellent, friendly outside crew efficiently directing you to open parking spaces when arriving & safe exits following the service. (This is more unusual than a great leader). During the last 8 months, I have lived in 4 States from Wyoming (my home) to Atlanta where I luckily own some nice houses. And I will be returning here often. I have not missed at least one church service (sometimes several) every Sunday since - God spoke to me twice - in a very normal male voice that just sounded like a 40 year old friend (I think He recognized His personal intervention was the ONLY way I would have any hope of living with Him in Heaven (wherever that is...)! Until then, I may have attended a church service 3-10 times a year for Easter, Christmas... (I had His invisible presence on an invisible horse riding next to me as I grew up on huge ranches. So why did I need to attend a church?). Now I know. And when I did attend, I was driven to select special churches with good people and great Pastors/Priests! North Point is one of THE VERY BEST I have ever experienced! Attending events there, joining with good people and being inspired by Godly leadership is memorable & life changing!

I was excited about this church ... the messages were clear, on point and Bible based, the music was great and the staff is wonderful. The church facility is very nice as well. So what's the problem(?) The issue for my husband and I was the piping in of secular music in the church before church service starts. The Sunday I'm speaking of we heard "Earth, Wind and Fire". We were confused :{. Our feeling is that there is a time and a place for that and not in God's house. God's House is Holy ground and only Holy things should take place there. The same with the Church anniversary party in the park, gospel was played then secular party music was played, then gospel then secular music, then gospel, etc. Again, we were in happy reverence and praise mode then came party music.... we were so confused.... We left the event very early and have not been back to this church since. We really thought we had found a church home and were left sad and disappointed to have to leave. Though we loved this church we Love the God more and have to follow the Holy Spirit and not man. I cannot express how much we loved this church and are sad to stop going but for God we'd still be visiting.
