Complimentary Ice coffee following the true Talk event
    Kameetrice F.

I attended this church for the first time tonight for a True Talk event. Let me tell you something, yes it's Friday night, yes I went to church and YES I had so much fun that I can't wait to do it again! I did have to plan early to enjoy the full time frame of this event. I typically work until 4:30, however, I knew it would be difficult to make it from the Vinnings area to Norcross by 5:30, so I left work an hour early. The problem-- I still did not hit the highway until about 4:30 ! With that being said it took me roughly one hour and 15 minutes to make it through the horrendous Atlanta traffic. ( side note- I don't know how people deal with this on a daily basis!) upon arrival, as listed in the itinerary, a number of food trucks were present. Some included Tex's Tacos, French Truck,The Atlanta Burger,Flatbread Bistro, and Mac The Cheese. As you can see-- too many options, making it difficult to make a decision. I ultimately went for the mac the Cheese. I had the spinach and artichoke bowl-- it was pretty tasty. Next up, a little fellowship with other ladies that included karaoke and photo booth fun! The other attendees were friendly and most people appeared to be genuine. Everyone was supportive of the performers and it appeared to be a true " no judgement zone". Around 7:30pm the main event commenced. This included praise and worship, a special announcement that everyone would get to indulge in the dessert truck for a free item, an introduction of the speaker, and the actual sermon completed by Jeanne Mayo. I have to admit that I was highly impressed by the message. Her message was about how to deal when God feels far away. During the entire service I noted a videographer ( there was a massive video camera spanning over head) and what appeared to be a professional photographer. Thus, I am sure you can catch the message on the website. The event wrapped with complimentary ice coffee drinks- the complimentary desserts, a little line dancing to include the Cupid shuffle, and a night cap of karaoke. If you are considering going to a True Talk Event- I highly recommend it and can say that you will not be disappointed. As for the church service-- I will add an update after Sunday, because this girl will be in the house this weekend!!

This was the second car that Victory paid in cash for me and my children 2019 by the leading of God

Victory has been a great church for us in the past five and a half years. Within a year they didn't just purchase one car for me and my two boys who was homeless when we first got here but two. I walked off the car dealership with the second one paid in full. I have learned a lot being here. The only thing, the limitation of the sensory classes for children with autism was eliminated down to two services 9 and 11 and majority of the time we was going to 1:00 so at times I can't attend because my son does not handle the auditorium or the family room very well. So I've taken online. LOVE MY CHURCH

This was our first time visiting this church, and we were hopeful that this was what we had been searching for: non-denominational, contemporary worship, multi-ethnic, a place that isn't dead and where the whole Word of God is preached! We found what we were looking for and God met us at the point of our need...we were so dry and thirsty. We attended the 11am service (traditional, larger crowd) but because of the impact of the message (the unapologetic Truth about the Holy Spirit) we just stayed basking in His Presence right on through until the end of the 1pm service (younger group, casual dress and more open/expressive in worship of God). Final thoughts: we wore jeans and it's all good no matter what you wear since we observed people dressed up in their Sunday Best to others casual in flip-flops. We'll probably check out the other service times available, especially the 6pm Sat evening service and the Spanish service on Sunday at 1 pm. Small groups meet in lieu of a Wednesday evening service, which is also another factor for us as it provides a way to connect with people and form relationships in a larger church like this one. We liked the diversity, it's normal to us to see other mixed race couples/families. Our experience was a time of refreshing for us and we believe we will make this our church home and get involved here.

Early arrival. Patiently waiting to Praise the Almighty!

Victory World Church has truly been a blessing to my life. I joined greeters ministry in spring of last year and official joined the church family in October of last year. Prior to joining I had been attending services for about 2 and a half years. Victory has an awesome praise team and and several different ministries to get involved in with great leadership. I'm still growing spiritually, but with the guidance of such an AMAZING Pastor and First Lady I know I'm on my way to greatness as I move about my spiritual journey. Thank you Victory World Church for your warm welcome, continuous love, & support! I'm so honored to be apart of such an amazing church family!

The best thing is that there is no expectation or judgement. Come in wearing a t-shirt and shorts or a suit and a tie. You are welcomed if you are gay or straight, rich or poor. If you want to get involved there are opportunities to do outreach. Rev. Wes Morgan does a great job in trying out different creative ways of preaching. The congregation is a wonderful mixture of different peoples- all of us working and praying together to be His voice in Norcross, Georgia. Landmark does have a dress code: wear clothes. Each year, the staff and pastors seek God's direction for the church and they designate a special verse from the Bible that encompasses the vision and mission of Landmark. This year's verse is: "We are the house of God, the gateway to Heaven..." (Genesis 28:17) Landmark offers live praise and worship each Sunday via the Landmark Band (comprised of an electric guitar, electric bass, acoustic drums, electric keyboard, and lead with back-up singers. If you're particularly blessed when attending, you'll be granted a Grand Piano performance by Pastor Jeanette Kelly. The services last from 10:30 AM thru 1:00 PM on average. However, sometimes the services run over when the worship, praise, and/or word flow heavily- but don't worry the chairs (not pews) are comfortably cushioned! Landmark is a charismatic-style Church, so don't be surprised if someone in the congregation gets a word from God and shares it with us. Landmark reaches out to the community through a number of different events and services. The staff and congregation maintain a clothing closet for whomever might need it. They also offer a wonderful bread ministry (care of Masada Bakery and Publix). Speaking of food- Landmark has a once-monthly luncheon that is open to all and is provided for by the church. The luncheons are designed to promote fellowship amongst the congregation as well as to build healthy relationships with members of the community. Each year, in the summer, Landmark Church operates a Vacation Bible School (VBS) that is open to any child between the ages of 8-14 years old. VBS always has free breakfast, lunch, and snacks as well as a variety of fun activities designed to teach about Jesus while building healthy friendships. The hours for VBS are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Now, this may or may not be the place God has for you to set down roots, but I can guarantee that you'll feel His presence in this wonderful church. I highly recommend a visit! I also highly recommend repeated visits and church membership, but no pressure! We're just happy to see new faces and receive the word with them (you).
