Adult services are held at 9:15 am, 11:15 am, and 4:30 pm. The church is large, and on most Sundays, the 11:15 service has the largest attendance. It is best to get there early to give yourself time to find a seat and take a look around without feeling rushed. There are parking volunteers who will help you find easy parking. When you enter the building there are a number of guest services volunteers who can help you find the environments that you need to visit. If you are a first time guest, don't forget to stop by The Gallery after the service to learn more about the church. If you would like a smaller crowd, try attending the 4:30 service for a more intimate feel. The music is like attending a free concert every Sunday - nice perk! The messages are often timely, relevant and applicable for most people, whether they consider themselves Christian or not. All are truly welcome - there is no insider/outsider culture here. There are great environments for children and young people: Waumba Land is the environment for pre-K and younger children. In this environment, children are in small classrooms with structured activities during the service. The older pre-K children have their own large group environment in which they sing and dance and hear an engaging Bible story by talented volunteer worship leaders who keep the kids laughing and engaged. For the younger kids, the musicians visit their classrooms for singing and dancing, and the volunteers in the classrooms engage the kids in the Bible story. They kids typically make a craft that they can take home to remember what they learned, and trust me - they will be singing those catchy songs for days! My child currently attends Waumba Land, so that is the environment about which I am most familiar. Upstreet is the environment for elementary age children, and Transit is the environment for middle school students. Inside Out is for students in high school. Upstreet is available at all services. Transit is available in the mornings, and Inside Out meets in the evenings. All of the environments provide for large group and small group learning. Adults are encouraged to join community groups, which enables them to also experience a small group environment. The church believes that life is better in circles, rather than rows, and encourages people to connect to a small group in their area of Gwinnett. There are groups for singles and married couples, and they typically meet weekly throughout the county. You can connect to a community group online or through an event called Grouplink. My husband and I have been members of several groups throughout the years, and we highly recommend the experience. It is a great way to grow in your relationship with other people, with your community, and with God. Gwinnett Church has a hastag of its own: #ForGwinnett. That's because Gwinnett Church wants to be known for what it is for, and it is - you guessed it - For Gwinnett! There are many service opportunities available to support the good work being done throughout the county and beyond to help and serve those around us. While the church is best known for participating in the Be Rich service campaign around the holidays each year, service opportunities are available and encouraged throughout the year.

Andy Stanley, the founder, had decided to create a church for people who don't like to go to church. His vision has become reality and he has opened multiple churches across Atlanta. It's incredible to see the amount of support and people that flood in the doors to hear the sermons every week and all the volunteers who gave up their time to make everything run as smoothly as possible from parking in the lot to leaving. They have a fantastic children's area and you are grouped according to what grade level you are. It's so terrific and my daughter actually enjoys going. They always do little activities that help teach them about how to be a Christian. My friend introduced me to this church a couple weeks ago and I was so happy to not have to park a mile away and I was able to find a seat relatively easy. The sermons literally move me. They are so fantastic and come from the heart. Listening to people's experiences helps me remember to be thankful for what I have and want to help others. If you miss a sermon, they can be found online because they record them. It's so wonderful to have that option because sometimes you might not be able to make it for whatever reason. They are opening up another sermon time for the month of August because they are growing. The additional service will be held at 12:45 PM. If you are a new member, you can stop by the new member area and get a really nice mug and get introduced to some of the staff there. They also have some complimentary bites for breakfast. Today they were passing out free donuts! I have to admit I really miss listening to Andy Stanley but the sermons I have heard here are also very good. And I can always catch Andy online!

Well, this service was so refreshing and such a blessing! The members are such sweet and beautiful spirits. No pretense to the service. Just worship and the Word. And a great teacher. Pastor Vincent Watson is a great expositor of the Word of God. I enjoyed the Spirit that abides in the House and the people. I've also attended politic consumed churches, none were ever visited a second time and for a period of time I started worshiping from home to avoid the mega churches and corruption. Then one day I drove past this little tiny church with a flooded parking lot. Have you've ever been to a small restaurant with 150 cars? Makes you want to eat there, huh? So I did... Figuratively speaking, I ate there and boy was it good! The first thing I noticed when I walked in were the many, many flags that hung on the wall representing diversity and welcoming all cultures. Next, dress code. There was no pressure of needing expensive suits or dresses to praise. The range of outfits varied from Brooks Brothers to simple linen pants, I loved it! Then I met the pastor and his beautiful wife, they were so honest and caring and humble. You can tell they are God-loving, relatable and genuine people. This goes for the entire congregation that I've met thus far. In a nutshell, if you're looking for a place to worship visit here. If you're already a member elsewhere and in the area during service times, drop in anyway!!

They have people to assist if you don't know where to go into the sanctuary for service. The sanctuary is huge like a stadium. You could sit up close near the platform, in the middle, on the sides or a the top away. I like to come early so I can select my seating. They do have ushers who will direct you to a seat according to the size of your family or by yourself. They are also friendly and helpful too. The praise and worship is great. Songs originated by their ministry team can be song or songs by popular Christian artists song, but the songs will be rooted in the Word(Bible). I love that pastors or ministers preach the word from the Bible. They have it on the screens for you to follow or you use the You Version Bible app to follow along, which is the best! Communion is given out on first Sunday, but if led to give on another Sunday they will do so. This church is not a religious church, but about a relationship with Jesus. It is non-denominational. We are not into celebrating "Days" . Our preference is simplicity... worship and grow with all emphasis, glory and honor to HIM. I grew up Baptist all my life but have been Non-Denominational for many years now. Everyone is different as are our worship styles. This appears to be a thriving church and may appeal to many. Freedom also has a few signature events where we help the community. This is a place for Christians that want to serve though. If you just want to sit in the back pews and get a Word and leave, you'll see that this isn't the place for you. Since Freedom is small in numbers (compared to huge churches), we all put in work. I love trying out new places.. but churches for some reason.. not so much and this is my reason…read more I'm going to say my honest opinion towards this church. So last Sunday, April 24, 2016, I usually go to church with my sister, Angela S and her husband, Ray S. But that Sunday I couldn't... and so.... I wanted to try out the church right around the corner where I live. I entered the church and the scenery really reminded me of the double doors to Titanic (the movie). I heard talking coming from another set of double doors and talking coming from downstairs (stairs going down on the right side). I saw a bowl of candy and immediately I heard in my spirit say to me "don't take candy from strangers" which was weird because aren't church people the one and the same as you as a believer? So that really made me question about this place. It was like stepping into a time machine when I pulled open the doors. There weren't many people at this church. So I came a bit early and Benjamin (leading Bible Study) was talking about the history of the Bible, I think. There was a projection screen and pictures on it. I wasn't really paying attention. I noticed that there weren't any instruments anywhere. I kept thinking "where do they play their instruments for the worship service?" SUNDAYS 9 AM - Bible Study 10 AM - Worship 6 PM - Worship TUESDAY (04/26) 10:30 AM - Ladies Bible Study WEDNESDAY (04/27) 7:30 PM - Bible Study It would have been helpful if there was a pamphlet about the history of this church but there were none. Worship started at 10 AM and I saw that people were coming in. Not a whole lot like you see in the mega churches. Everyone seemed to know everyone which was a good thing, I guess. So friendly and nice. I was sitting on the pews that read on the side of it "visitors". I sat at the waaaaaaaay back. I met with several people who seemed to be regulars at this church. Very nice people.. but my spirit felt uneasy and uncomfortable. Not suppose to feel that way, especially in the house of God. Something about this place really made me want to run out of that place and I didn't know why? I met Pastor Kerry (hopefully that's how you spell it) and his wife, Melody. I felt like these people weren't normal. I felt like they were faking everything. But I shouldn't make assumptions because these people are also Children of God. I asked the Holy Spirit if this was normal and I felt in my spirit that something about this place gave me the creeps! After service, I met with Laura. She's a regular at this church. She told me a small testimony about her life and how she came to the US when she was fourteen years old. I spoke to her about my experiences with demons and she told me her experiences as well. I was glad to know that there were some people who aren't embarrassed or afraid to talk about these things. We started to talk about visions and dreams. She believes that all dreams come from demons and she made it sound like we don't get visions and dreams from the Lord. But I kept trying to tell her that the Father loves to share wonderful things with his children. But she continued to cut me off.. saying it's not and stuff. So I just thought I'd pray for her. I met with Melody. I was originally suppose to talk to her right after service but I wanted to speak with Laura. I guess her spiritual level isn't high enough to reach Father. Everyone is at a different spiritual level with the Father, I believe. Melody asked me if I wanted to meet with her to Bible study just the two of us. I was like sure.. but then, later, she texted me and asked me if it was alright if she brought along her husband and other people.. not comfortable with that so I declined. I know you (as a believer) should meet with other Christians.. but something about these people just make me go ------- "AHHHHHH!!!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???" ***Note: During worship, there are no instruments and they have this really old hymn book with a lot of sleepy songs in it. I really felt like I was living in the past! Benjamin seemed to be the lead person who begins to sing the hymns and leads Bible Study... just weirded me out, I guess, because I'm used to people praising and worshiping God by raising our hands up in the air and singing up beat worship songs! Also, I asked if there was any way I could just come to the church and serve.. and they gave me the weirdest impression ever! What's wrong with serving at a church with so few people in it? They should've said "OF COURSE" but nope.. none of that.. just like a "no" kind of look. Not friendly at all type of attitude. So yea.. not coming to this church. Also, they talk about things that I already know.. how come they're not talking about how we are living in the end times? They do talk about repentance which is always a plus... but other than that. No, no, no! Not the church for me.
