Got in Yelp and someone had recommended this bar. Semi-rooftop bar on the 3rd floor. Beautifully lit and the staff was welcoming the minute we stepped in. As we sat down, the bartender greeted us warmly. Made suggestions and we decided to have the Black Manhattan. He made it with such precision. Took pride in his work. Loved it. They do also offer outdoor seating if you want to have lunch. We sat at the bar and had a delicious guacamole. Check it out. Whether you're staying there or not!! A shame that this was my first impression of Mexico City. She didn't even offer a receipt, just took my card swiped it and even had the audacity to ask for a tip. lol (mind you in a condescending way). Out of being gracious, I have a tip but I hope she learns that people bring business to their establishment and can easily take it away. What a disappointing experience. Who is her supervisor? Would love to speak with them directly about her behavior. She's rude and I hope no other person that tries to bring business to them is treated the same way. Would LOVE to speak to a supervisor about her.

Most tables were reserved for folks who wanted bottle service, which we did not. They agreed to give us a spot in the corner without us purchasing a bottle. We ordered a round of drinks. Mine - the Aviation or something similar - was so bad that I only had a few sips. The venue for more crowded and much louder as the night went on. Definitely a night club vibe, which can be fun but didn't match our mood (we were looking for more of a cocktail lounge). It took a looong time to get our check.

The music was so loud I couldn't have a conversation with the person I was with, and we were going to have to take out a small personal loan to drink there, so we left. The business was really busy with a lively group of customers, so someone can clearly afford it and doesn't mind the nightclub atmosphere; it just wasn't for me. No issues with the service, we were immediately attended to and offered a menu.

We weren't really sure what to expect, but the exterior looked interesting so we decided to give it a shot on our last night in town (Friday night). We were thrilled to hear live music coming through the door, and were quickly seated so we could enjoy the entertainment. A few people were up dancing, but most were just sitting and talking, although they were really yelling since it was so loud. Our drinks came and were delicious, as was the food.....we started with sopes and guac, which were delicious. Two of us got chicken tacos and one got pork, and all were great although the chicken were a little bland...just add some salsa! Word of advice: the RED salsa is HOTTTTTT! For Mexico City, this place is overpriced. If you want a drink with a few, this is a nice place, but I wouldn't stay here for a long. There are way better places to have drinks in Mexico City.
