Stopped by here after dinner to grab some cocktails. From the name of the restaurant, it's already expected that all cocktails are gin based. Both cocktails ordered were delicious (the Brumble and Negroni). The atmosphere was lively but romantic.

Ambiance is great in the evening. As soon as you enter you walk upstairs so you can't see how busy they are which is a downside. A small but cozy second floor invites you to sit, chill, have some drinks and listen to the dJ. Drink prices were not cheap but were tasty and lots of options. So happy we came here to check it out! A Greta hangout spot to have some hookah too! Hookah was great, better than almost all the places we have back home in Atlanta! This is a must visit the next time we are in town. Cheers!

If you like good cocktails you will love Gin Gin! We are big gin drinkers and we loved the variety of gins here and all the fabulous cocktails. Very cool bar fully stocked with all liquor, great wine list and some beers. I loved all the extra fixings they had available for the drinks, and the fabulous big gin goblets! At night this place is more clubby. But we went early in the evening and it's pretty chill and laid back. They have food too, but we just had the drinks. In a great part of town, walkable to a lot , and lots of Space inside. We had great service here too. Pays to come early! All our drinks were excellent and very big pours! Great spot on our trail through Polanco bars.

Came here for gin based cocktails. The entrance was really cool with skulls and bones. The hostess was very friendly. Once we got seated the server unfortunately put me in a category of light drinks and strongly suggested I try the gin gin mule. I told him I prefer Negronis or anything more spirit forward but he wouldn't budge. After 3 attempts of him trying to change my mind, I finally got my Negroni. It was ok. My husband's drink was fine too. Nothing to remember.

What a cool little spot. Located on the second floor after a long lobby of skulls. It really is a vibe. The music was on point. It was just one good song after another. A great DJ mix. The drinks were delicious. Everything that the waiter recommended was just perfect. After two drinks, we developed an appetite and ordered some tacos recommended again by the waiter. They were delicious!everything about this place was awesome. Perfect for a girls night or maybe a romantic rendezvous with a lover. Definitely worth checking out.

Cool vibe, lovely outdoor space although could be much better with real live plants, great location, decent cocktails, friendly service as always in CDMX. We can't without reservation dat at the bar for a few drinks, enjoyed the indoor outdoor vibe, cocktails were good although nothing too special.

Receipt of us being scammed with 2 bottles of champagne we didn't order

DO NOT GO- YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. Group of 8 people arrived at about midnight ready to celebrate 2 birthdays. We ordered drinks, hookah. We were having a great time. Then they asked what we were celebrating and quickly came out with 2 bottles of champagne and sparklers. At this moment, none of us had a chance to see if someone even ordered these because we were mesmerized by the sparklers. The next bottle they brought out was Jääger... This is when all of us knew we were being SCAMMED because no one in our group ever drinks this. We kept refusing, but they kept trying to serve it. The bill for the 2 bottles was ~7300 pesos ($350). Now, we drank it; we enjoyed it. They thought we looked drunker and dumber than we were... I confronted them in Spanish, explained the whole situation and then said, "We enjoyed our night and the champagne, but we know what you did, and that was wrong." The manager (?) did not deny anything and was a bit skiddish. We still paid and felt like a bunch of fools but chose to be positive about a fun night with friends.

First time in the city of Mexico and came across this spot and I must say it has great ambiance and music, The cocktails were well made and presented and great service. I also tried their margarita pizza it was delicious and the dough was fresh and well toasted to perfection. The hookah was nice and smooth I had the blueberry mint and orange. Cocktails: tropical gin ,Aioros ,sunset breeze and the rain. Great spot. When I come back to Mexico City I'll definitely head to GIN GIN.

While we didn't book the acclaimed Roma location, we sought out their sister location located closer to our hotel in Polanco. We were required to purchase an appetizer to go with our drinks (maybe it's a local requirement for bars?). Got a quesadilla, which had nice flavor from meat, chile morita, and cheese, but it was tiny. Drinks were liquor forward, but balanced. We were impressed to get clear flavors from each of the ingredients of the cocktail. Was it a vibe that I'd want to enjoy again? Probably not - I personally prefer restaurants with really strong entrees and cocktails to support the food than the other way around. Nevertheless, I'm glad that I was able to visit this world renowned bar close to where I was staying. Drinks were creative, flavors were clear and assertive, but balanced. If you are looking for interesting cocktails, this is a great option for you

Come early as there is usually a line before entering the bar. Atmosphere: to enter into the bar, you have to go downstairs through a refrigerator. In contrast to the bright colors of the taqueria upstairs, Jules was adorned with leathered walls, studded ceilings, and skeletons as table centerpieces. While trendy, it did come off as a little cheesy. Nonetheless, decor did reflect the vibe it was going for. There was limited seating, so if you have a large party would recommend going there early if you have a big party. Later in the night, there is a DJ who plays techno/dance music tends to draw in large crowds of people. Brings in a mixed crowd. Service: Service at the beginning of the night was good, although servers were less attentive as the night got later and more people were entering the bar. Cocktails: The bar offers a good variety of drinks and cocktails--which I can see why people would want to go back to Jules again. My group of friends and I tried about 8 different cocktails and the only one I enjoyed was the Low Key. The Low Key is comparable to a whiskey soul with mezcal garnished with tamarind candy. I did not care much for the other drinks, as some of them were overly sugary.

The interior was dimly lit and moody, and the staff would yell a welcome every time patrons entered the space. They also did the same once people started leaving. For my first drink, I chose the Mexi-Thai. Handshake is known for their clarified cocktails and I was shocked by how complex the flavors were in this clear beverage. It was almost savory with makrut lime coconut, tomato, and basil oil. For my second drink, I chose the Banana Split. This one was much sweeter with rum, banana, and a blend of sherries. It came topped with a chocolate lego filled with banana ganache, which was insanely decadent and tasty. Our reservation was limited to 90 minutes, which was enough time for me. Aside from the entrance being anticlimactic compared to the bars I have been to, I think the drinks were quite delicious. I got the Earl Grey and the Once Upon in Oaxaca. The first one was honestly my favorite. It was such a refreshing drink that was a really fun take on Earl Grey tea. I really liked the lemongrass straw as well. Drinking out of the straw vs drinking the drink directly made a huge difference in flavor, which I thought was particularly unique. The Once Upon in Oaxaca was slightly smoky and definitely a more liquor forward drink. Perfect for a second cocktail. I would have liked it to be just a tad more smoky with a thicker mouthfeel. Overall, however, it was a pleasant experience, but there are definitely some other bars I'd recommend over this one...

I say seated with parenthesis because most people end up standing here but we got lucky that a couple was leaving as we were right next to them after being asked our drink orders. It's kind of a weird system that they have and I think the staff didn't realize we didn't have our drink orders taken yet and asked the people behind us for theirs which was slightly annoying. It was a bit chaotic so I can see why it happened, but I do think they need a slightly better system. Anyways, the drinks were excellent and I love that they gave us a little small snack that included crickets (which I hadn't tried before yet). The vibes in here are really nice too.
