The place is okay. The burgers were burnt and I think the place is a little overpriced on the alcoholic beverages for what they give you (mixed drinks). This staff is welcoming and friendly! The atmosphere is nice and what I love is that they are pet friendly. Needed a nice place to eat while I was out with my pups. The garlic parmesan wings are amazing, the mozarella sticks were really yummy as well and honestly probably one of the best I've tasted, as for the nachos they were pretty good, not my favorite but they were great and I was with my grandmother and mother and they both thought it was really good. Went for dinner got nachos, about a cumulative amount of 6 shreds of cheese, about a whole can of olives, and 2 diced full sized tomatoes, 3 singular black beans, and a questionable one piece of mystery meat, best friend got the dukes chicken sandwich and "it tasted like my chicken took a swim in the local chilly pond." Other friend got the Sunrise burger "tasted like fuckin yack meat" he says we don't know what that is but doesn't sound too good. When we went here, it was on a Wednesday, in the middle of the day and it was pretty empty. It has a full service bar and lots of seating with music playing. There was about 20-22 of us and we had one phenomenal waitress who was on point! There was a lot of us and some picky and she didn't get an attitude or roll her eyes. The way she got everything correct and could remember our orders was pretty incredible. One of the managing owners came out and checked on us, he said they just took over end of last year. With that being said, they are doing great. All the food was delicious! The wings were cooked just right, how we requested and seasoned well. The salads were big and so good. Fresh lettuce and veggies! My sister had the salmon and could not stop talking about how good it was and not over cooked and flavorful. I didn't get pics of everyone's food but i I know everyone said they loved their food. I definitely think they need someone to do a little more marketing for them because all the food was good and definitely needs to shared with everyone! Returned an order because it was completely wrong. Was asked to return the order and reorder once I did. I was very specific about the order.......and it still came out wrong. They made her a new bowl. I got 15 wings, 5 Cajun and 10 hot. They all tasted good, but the hot wings were barely room temp afire and they only gave me 9. The waitress was also very slow and didn't check back with us, we had to take the cold chili up front and were all done eating by the time they brought a new bowl. Horrible service, horrible language between waitresses, no manager apparently on site, and food took about 20 minutes to come out. Reordering a drink took way longer, with only 5 other customers in the restaurant, and bartender and waitresses seemed more interesting in flirting with what looked to be boyfriends visiting and apparently eating free. Probably the worst "pub" food I've ever eaten. Came in at 2:30pm for lunch, small beer drinking crowd we still waited over 30 min for a fajita chicken wrap and a medium burger. Upon presentation, the chicken was cold with old lettuce in the wrap. The burger came out well done with an old roll. Water smelled, and asked for bottled water, which was served. Place needs renovating with tipsy tables, disgusting floor, and dusty deco. Never again. read more

Have been here multiple times since it opened. Started out with a bang. Has died down to a whimper. Since the opening there have been a lot of ups and downs in the service and food we have received. More downs than ups. Tonight may have been the last straw. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant. One table already had their food. Another was already seated and waiting. And there were about three people at the bar. The waitress was friendly enough and appeared to be trying her best, but the kitchen staff kind of made that a moot point. We ordered our food. A patty melt for my wife. Boneless wings and a basket of fries for me. And we waited. And waited. Again, this place was empty. Yet we waited a good half an hour to get our food. A very simple order. And when the food arrived there were problems. My wings were not fresh. The sauce had all pretty much run off to the bottom of the basket and the wings themselves were now dry to the touch and lukewarm. Whatever sauce that had stuck was now dried out. And my basket of fries were flat out cold. My wife's patty melt was blackened to a crisp. The beef patty was covered in a hard, carbon shell. Like the cook had cranked up the griddle to try to rush it. Probably because the wings and my fries were already done and sitting there. The grilled onions were practically raw and the rye toast was burnt. But HER fries were fresh an hot. Clearly my meal was left to sit and wait while they finished up my wife's meal. In an all but empty restaurant there was no excuse for the time that it took or for the two meals to not come up at the same time. I assume it had something to do with the kid doing the cooking, who I could see from our table bopping around in the back with a pair of earbuds in and doing a pretty lousy job of preparing the only two meals in front of him. The manager did her best to make it right, taking my wife's patty melt and my fries off the bill. But even if the food had all been prepared correctly the time it took to receive it was inexcusable. And while the server did apologize I had an issue with leaving anything more than a 15% tip on the reduced bill. But you go to a restaurant to eat. No amount of courtesy and service makes up for it if your food takes forever to arrive and is all screwed up once it finally gets there. And as I said, we have had our share of "downs" at Duke's. Heard some good things about this place but when i went was left disappointed. Food was mid and for the most part wasnt even warm. Servers seem to be nice but i felt rushed when i was there. Strike 3 just occurred. Strike 2 was a couple of weeks ago when I ordered wings to go, only to find my BBQ wings were sent home with me as Medium. Additionally, both orders of ten wings from that carryout order barely had any sauce on them. I called upon the discovery & was told that my name would be put on a list for free wings the next time I came in. Well, tonight I wanted to see if that list was going to be honored, so I walked in at about 10:25pm & was promptly told that they were closed, despite the posted closing time of midnight. Something about a family emergency with one of the managers. I'm sorry but I've tried & tried to like this establishment but it seems to be run very poorly without regard to the customers. The food is the only reason we have came back here, but I'm not sure that is even worth it anymore. This place has hands down got the absolute worst service. Sloooowwwwww is an understatement. Our server today has acted like we are inconveniencing her, ignored 3 times when we asked for our drinks, both were empty for far too long. The restaurant was practically empty. There were 6 other families in the entire place. Asked 4 times for a TV to be changed. The server actually said it is changed.....right. I cannot say anything more than this...if you are wanting decent timely service, DO NOT COME HERE. As I sit here it has been 25 minutes and our food has still not come out to our table. Stopped in for supper Friday evening, first visit here. We were seated immediately and our server took drink orders immediately and we also ordered an appetizer (fried pickles) while deciding on what food to order while we waited. We chose the Friday night special (fish & Chips) and also a couple of tasty barley pops to go along with our meal. Everything was good but they really should change their frying oil a bit more often so the the fried foods taste better. Our server was fairly attentive and the atmosphere wasn't too terribly noisy for a Friday evening at that point. 2 stars because the server was nice and attentive. Although new and we knew as much about the special advertised as she did. Tried the wings special and they most definitely have the wings cooked sitting on stand by in the back. They were barely warm and definitely not just cooked. The fries are straight from the freezer with no seasoning whatsoever not even a little salt. The philly was very greasy and one of the worst I've had. That meat I can only assume was straight out of the freezer also. We satisfied our curiosity and it's worse than I imagined although the girls were dressed better than I imagined. We won't be back and unless they change their food this place will be doomed like the others before it in that location! Try using fresh food and some seasonings before it's to late!! read more

Absolutely unimpressed. And I'm very sad, because this could have been my new go to place. Although the bartenders were nice, that was the only positive in my visit. The onion rings portion was tiny, compared to the cost. The wings, again were overpriced. But, besides that, the medium sauce was terrible, and seemed salty. The worst part was that 2 of my wings were lukewarm at best. They were fully cooked, but we're not hot. After I took a bite out of that one, I was done. I left the remaining 2 in the basket, paid the bill and left. I'll never be back. How can this happen? Are the wings all sitting under a heat lamp or something? Also, if your tv on the wall that shows the beer selections says you have Miller Lite on draft, why don't you actually carry it? I've never been wowed before by the food at Duke's but today was different. Marcus is the new cook in the back and he makes a world of difference. Hands down best Chicken Quesadilla I've ever had and from my reviews you know I travel. Additionally the Mama's Chicken Alfredo was delicious.
