When entering our truck, Molson slipped and ripped his declaw exposing the quick. We called the Small Animal Clinic, and they were able to see us that morning. The veterinarian promptly took Molson back for treatment. Within twenty minutes his exposed quick had been treated - and he was in much less pain. An hour later - allowing time for the bleeding to stop so the wound could be cleaned and wrapped - we were on our way! We can't say enough about how pleased we were with everything and everyone there! Compassionate, considerate, and very fairly priced!

Last night, Boots was breathing was labored, she whined all night and did not want to sleep. I contacted ER med vet and was advised to give her claritin and follow up with my Vet. Today, I call at 11a and stated the obvious. Do you want to bring her back for an exam (additional charge). No, i am calling for further recommendation as i was there Friday and the claritin is not working. I am told I would receive a call back. Around 345p, I receive no call and contact them again. First, Noone remembered me calling, hence I was told about the call back without alerting anyone. After calling for the second time, holding for 15 minutes, I am told that there is no record from the visit on Friday and I would need to come in and recharge for another exam.... Needless to say, its a hard NO! I don't not recommend due to no records, additional charges, lack of care and customer service.

His body covered with cuts and abrasions and suffering from a broken hip. After weeks of working with an out of state rescue group and animal hospital he developed necrosis in the area of the stitches from being neutered. We were preparing a late dinner when the bleeding started at 11 PM. We're talking cups of blood coming out. There would be no time to make the 1.5+ hour transit to the out of state hospital. He would have bled out. We had never used Rehm but they were close by, had a doctor in the office and I honestly doubt we could have ended up in better hands. Dr Shine and his trusty assistant Andrea met us at the door. While she worked with my wife to get the info Dr. Shine started working his magic. After saving the dog's life they worked with us on a treatment plan that we could afford. We were impressed by their professionalism, bedside manners and willingness to work with us on alternative pricing/care options. Prices: In this instance I really can't talk to price, it was late and they were the first ones we got hold of. We have not used other hospitals in the area for emergency services. It certainly did not seem out of line for the work performed considering the quality. And then....about 6 weeks ago our small dog started having seizures, coughing and all around craziness. Once again it was later in the evening. After a quick call to confirm the dream team was available we rushed Baby Girl to the Hillcrest Rehm facility. And once again Andrea and staff displayed genuine concern for our baby and Dr Shine possessed the mad skills to remedy her ailments. We moved here about a year ago and up till now have been using different vets for regular checkups, shots, etc. Due to Dr Shine and Andrea we will now use Rehm for all our vets need. I will say they are a bit more for the yearly checkup and shots than some others but I love that warm and fuzzy feeling.

When we went to have the surgery 2 weeks ago, they ask that you drop off in morning and then you pick them up that afternoon. They give you a paper to fill out when you arrive so you can select what all you want to do for your pet. We opted to have bloodwork, medicine and her nails trimmed too. They call you during and or after surgery to keep you posted. We were relieved to hear she was doing great. They offered to remove her back dew claws because she had already injured them and I had meant to ask them about it, but forgot so I was very happy they called and asked. They were very efficient and professional. The entire staff worked as a team and you can tell they love animals. Overall they had the best pricing (even with the add-ons they offer) and everything went well.

Years ago, he started having breathing issues and we started seeing Dr. Mary Edwards exclusively. He was put on a few medications, and we were fine... until his recent ACL injury, about a month ago. Charlie was a very food driven, active, bubbly dog. After Dr. Mary told me he had an ACL injury, I asked about an injection called Adequan, after doing light research the night before. She lit up and said that would be a great option, so they show me how to administer the medication, gave us some Galliprant, and sent me on my way. Two weeks ago, Charlie started vomiting and having diarrhea. We were trying to give it a few days just incase his stomach was upset. It continued, he began to lay in bed all day and refused food/water. Friday, we took him to a separate vet and they informed us that Charlie was in stage 4 kidney disease, and those two medications he was prescribed are things they can't have if he has kidney disease. This doctor didn't suggest or mention testing his blood before going on these medications. Also, I was never informed of any side effects, or anything to look out for if the medication wasn't right for him. This morning, we had to make the grueling decision to euthanize our sweet boy. His creatinine levels had reached 11 and at that point, he was suffering, in pain, and laboring to breathe. He was my bestfriend since I was in kindergarten, and now he is an angel in heaven. Please, read a few other reviews, as I wish I would've, and take your animal somewhere else.

My husband's job requires that we travel and consequently we recently moved from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Mobile, Alabama. The Optimum Wellness plans are a fantastic solution for those who travel and want premium care for their pets at an affordable price. Shortly after our family moved here to Alabama, my cat began showing signs of skin irritation and proceeded to lick a large amount of his fur off. We have always used a parasite preventative and were positive this was not a flea or tick related issue. My Banfield hospital, located at 3890 Airport Blvd., Mobile, AL., was working on getting to the root of my cat's skin problems. Skin irritations in pets can take time to fix, and we found ourselves worried and frustrated for our kitty's situation. I emailed the Banfield Corporate Office and expressed these concerns. Within 24 hours I was met with an outpouring of renewed concern and feedback, not from just one person assigned to contact me from the corporate office. Everyone from corporate down to every last staff member at my local Banfield Hospital went out of their way to inquire after my pet's wellness. They encouraged us to come back with our cat in an effort to be certain everything possible could be done to help him. When this happened I became aware of how very much the folks at Banfield value our pets...that they love the task of providing health and wellness for other people pets. The staff at Banfield truly care for your family's pet as if it were thier own and have done an outstanding job making sure my cats stay happy and healthy for a long time yet to come. I'd like to give a very special Thank You to Danny at Client Services, Dr. James, Banfield's new feline veterinary all-star, and all of the wonderful ladies who comprise the front desk staff at my local Mobile, AL Banfield Pet Hospital for doing a remarkable job going above and beyond to provide our family with excellent service and my kitty with exemplary care.

When we arrived, the receptionist and the vet tech were each super nice and very professional. Dr. Gilson examined Tinkerbelle thoroughly. He explained the utility of each diagnostic and treatment option he recommended, and he quoted us the price. He found that she had fairly extensive osteoarthritis and recommended treatment. Our story had a happy ending because we arrived fearing it was time to euthanize and discovered our dog's problem was treatable. It's also a happy ending because, had it turned out it was time to let our dog go, I feel confident they would have handled that outcome with skill and compassion. Every interaction was excellent.
