Store nice and clean inside good selection. Was going around found a lot of out of code beer on the shelves at full price. If you flip over cans or cases and find the enjoy by date labeled on the cans or cases it will tell you the date. Checked out the guy working the register wasn't very friendly more like a guy that hated his job and didn't want to be working. Kind of a down fall asked him for help finding a product and told me all I do is work the register and that I can't help you out. Was a heavy set dude black hair. Won't be back first time here will go down the street and support someone else then this place. Awful experience by 1 employee that's lazy and can't do their job right. read more

The only reason I'm giving Duffy's 2 stars is because of their selection of beer and the home brew guy named Tony who is very helpful and nice. However, I have had multiple times were the staff was unbelievably disrespectful. The worst part was that each time, they claimed to be 'managers'. As you enter there used to be great deals to the right. $8.99 for a Samuel Adams 12 pack one time, and I remember getting amazing craft beers there too. Very Cheap compared to other nearby places ! There is no reason to go anywhere else they have everything you could ever want and some beers you would never want. If you like the domestic specialty breweries this is the place to go. Breweries are alphabetical by type of beer. Also if your not sure what you want they have the build a sixer with plenty of different breweries to test out. Though this place has no air conditioning and a bit cluttered, it was cluttered with beer... and that's always a good thing. From local to foreign; craft beers to name brand, they pretty much have everything you're looking for in PA. Rich and I went in to get a sampler case for the house. The prices seemed reasonable and they had a wide selection of sampler cases there - I was pleasantly surprised! We left with a case of Smuttynose which I'm looking forward to consuming over the next month or so. The only unfortunate thing is that this place only sells cases. It's state law out here - cases only, unless you're at a bottle shop (I hope this changes soon). Now if they'd only put in some sort of cooling system, I could go in and grab my beer without sweating in the summer heat :) read more

I was debating whether to give Duffy's a one or two star review. The only positive thing that they have going for them is their large beer selection. The customer service here is absolutely horrible. I specially ordered a keg for a party that I was having and went in to pick it up on a Saturday morning. After the employee spent about a half hour of searching for my keg, they couldn't provide me with any answers and told me that they think sold my keg to someone else earlier that morning. I was treated poorly. Very poor customer service and very rude staff. I had to make numerous calls to other businesses in the area before I was able to find the keg that I was looking for in stock (and the price was even better than the price at Duffy's) I definitely will not be returning to Duffy's in the future and will make the drive to any other distributor for my purchases. read more

I happened to stop past Duffys today when I was shopping at Pat Catan 's. I saw the slushie machine and I happened to ask the cashier do you know what the price is and how do they serve them. well Alexis was her name and she helped me so much she did an awesome job, she even mixed it up for me. So you can get different taste if you don't like it too strong. She was very friendly to everyone while waiting on me she was also helping other customers with answering questions for them and helping them be patient while waiting on me. The prices are very reasonable and not overpriced like some beer warehouses if it wasn't for Alexis helping me I probably wouldn't of bought the slushies because she was very helpful and explain stuff to me and I was glad that she was the one that help me out so see Alexis when you stop past Duffys for a slushies or anything else , because you will NOT be disappointed read more

I've always really liked Duffy's for their great selection and prices. I was disappointed on my recent visit due to frustrating and confusing service. There was a sale for 12 cans but only 6 can containers were available. Apparently 4 sets of 6 cans can make a 24 pack, but 2 sets of 6 can't make 12. I'm surprised the manager would chose to piss off a regular customer rather than admit their own mistake. read more

My family has been frequenting Duffy's for as long as I can remember. The selection is extensive on both pop and beer, and they also have a variety of snacks (some of which you can't find just anywhere like good ole Candy Cigarettes). A trip to Duffy's is always a necessity when family comes to town, especially since it's right next door to Pat Catan's, another family favorite. I've never gone to the trouble to compare prices, since the only other place to buy beer in West Mifflin is Giant Eagle and that's really not a fair comparison to this type of place. I do find the prices for the lady drink options slightly higher to what I was used to paying in New York, but for all I know they are good for the Pittsburgh region. read more

I don't drink beer, but this review should be useful to others like me. First of all, just because I don't drink it doesn't mean I don't have to buy it for when I entertain. And I am always (repeat ALWAYS) happy to come to Duffy's. Why? 1. They have a ridiculous selection. I'm not a beer afficionado, but I don't have any friends who are avid beer drinkers who can't get what they want here. Aisles upon aisles of beer. Craft beers, imports, regular football season beer... even an Olde English if you want to make yourself a true Brass Monkey. 2. They have a great selection of... ROOT BEER. Now this is what I come for. Sure, my name is Hank, so I might be a bit biased here, but they stock Hank's Root Beer here, and I don't care what Virgil says about his root beer, Hank's got him beat. It's a root beer out of Philly, and they make four drinks of which I am familiar: Hank's Root Beer, Hank's Vanilla Cream Soda, Hank's Orange Cream Soda, and Hank's Wishniak Black Cherry Soda. The root beer is divine, the vanilla cream soda is also second to none. I don't like the orange cream soda. But the Black Cherry is also a distinctly good soda with a real black cherry (not artificial) flavor. But aside from Hanks, they carry Sprecher's, which is another quality root beer out of Wisconsin. When I used to live in Milwaukee, I would get Sprecher on tap out there. It's bottled, obviously, here, but it's a very good root beer I'd recommend. They also carry IBC and Stewart's, although those are common, and of course they carry the other standard sodas that you can pick up anywhere. 3. They have a great... chips and candy selection. No seriously. If you ever feel the need to make yourself a pinata, buy your candy at Duffy's. I buy caramel apple pops there. Finally, they special order things they don't stock. For example, they always stock the Hank's Root Beer, but have been testing the market for the Orange and Vanilla Creme sodas. I got them to get me a special order case of the black cherry along with a case of Vanilla and Root Beer. read more
